It came, the day Jisoo dreaded. She would stay awake each night, always stressing over the thought of Hae In leaving. She couldn't let her husband leave her in this state, but they both had no choice.

They hadn't talked for a while, which Jisoo had deeply regretted. But she didn't know how to react. It wasn't anyone's fault, so she wasn't angry. She knew he would be here for the baby's birth, so she wasn't sad either.

She just had a gut feeling something would go wrong, but she didn't know what it was.

"Jisoo?" Hae In called out her name. It was 2 AM, and Hae In was set to leave at 9 AM. Jisoo was wide awake and Hae In was fast asleep, until now.

Jisoo struggled to turn the other way because of her bump, so she just replied without looking at him. "Hm?" She responded.

"Why are you still awake?" He asked her, with a twinge of concern in his tone. He truly cared for her, always concerned about her health and wellbeing.

"Oh, I just couldn't sleep." She explained quietly.

"Is it because I'm leaving? Look, I know you're sad but... I'll be back before you know it."

"Are you sure you'll be back in 2 months?"

"Yes, I promise."

"I love you." Jisoo said.

"I love you too sweetheart." He replied, in a way to seal his promise.

"BEEP BEEP BEEP!" Screamed Hae In's alarm that was set for 7:30 AM. Both Jisoo and Hae In were awakened by the obnoxious sound.

Jisoo remained laying down while Hae In got out of bed and into the bathroom to freshen up. When he left, Jisoo tried to contain herself. This whole time, she didn't cry because she didn't want to stress Hae In out.

But this time, the warm tears flowed down her cheeks like a waterfall. She had to cover her mouth with her hand to make sure she wouldn't make any noise so Hae In wouldn't know she had been crying.

Once he had exited the bathroom, Jisoo already destroyed any evidence that she had been crying.

After they were both done freshening up, Jisoo made breakfast for the both of them.

"I'll miss you so much Jisoo..." Hae In began to say. "I know you're gonna go through hard times with our little baby in there, but please don't be sad. You know how much I hate to see you cry. I'll be back so soon you won't realize I was gone!"

"I'll miss you too, I love you so much." Jisoo gave him a small peck on his lips, but he kept it longer. Jisoo started to lick his lower lips and suck on them.

"You feel good..." Jisoo said breathlessly.

Hae In sucked on her neck, giving her an extremely prominent hickey.

"Hae In, I wanna do that too!" She giggled.

"You think I'll be allowed to show that in the military?" He smiled.

After 5 minutes of consecutively kissing and him giving her hickeys, they realized the time. It was time for Hae In to leave. Why so soon?

He brought out his suitcase and walked towards the entrance, with Jisoo behind him, almost bursting into tears.

"I love you so much, please don't be gone for so long."

"I love you too, but I already told you. I'll be back before you know it. I'll try my best to call you everyday. Go meet up with your friends and have some fun with them okay?" He smiled at her.

"Take care of yourself please. Don't overwork too much and stay strong."

Hae In nodded to what she said to reassure her. After that, he knelt down to her bump. "And you. Be nice to your mommy, I'm very excited to meet you very soon my little baby." Then he kissed Jisoo's baby bump.

They both secured a very long hug, but it was time for him to go. "I love you Jisoo. Take care of yourself and the baby."

"I love you too babe, take care of yourself and please be careful." She told him.

"I will." He responded. Before he walked out, he gave her one last kiss, and Jisoo returned it. She watched him walk out the door and closed it.

She ran to the window quickly, watching him walk out the apartment door. She yelled out to him.

"I love you, Hae In! Bye bye." She yelled.

He waved at her, and yelled I love you back.

Once Hae In was out of her sight, Jisoo collapsed on the couch and bursted into tears. She missed him so much already, and he was only gone for a few minutes.
