1ST PERSON:RODGER'S P.O.V.

It was another long day in Gardenview. I had just finished a successful case with Toodles. Apparently, one of shellys favorite fossils had gone missing. However with Toodles help, we found it quite quickly, discovering it in pebbles bed. The poor dog had mistaken it for a dog bone, and for it was scolded by Shelly shortly after. Hopefully everything ended up okay in the end.

Moving off the case, I was moving down the hallway with Toodles by my sides. She was skipping happily next to me, yet still full of energy.

After a while of walking, we had finally made it to my small room in Gardenview. I reached inside my pocket to quickly grabbed the key. I slowly unlocked the door, trying to be as quiet as possible, until a vibration rang from my pocket.

I sighed and gave the key to toodles to let her unlock the door so she could rest inside. I then picking up my phone, it was from Teagan.

R:Hello?

T:Ah, hello Rodger. Sorry for such a late notice, but would you like to have a small tea party at my place? I would love to talk to someone right now.

I paused for a minute, thinking.

R:Hm..do you think toodles could come along? I'm sure she misses you after our last visit. You two seem to get along quite well.

T:Why of course, I don't mind having an extra guest. When will you be here?

R:Does 20 minutes sound alright to you?

T:Of course! I'll be ready for you when you arrive. See you shortly.

R:Alright, see you soon.

I pushed the hang up button, putting my phone back in my pocket. Hopefully Teagan didn't mind such a wait.

I swiftly opened the door, seeing toodles on the other side drawing something.

"Toodles, I'm going to go to Teagan's place for a bit, would you like to come along?" I asked, walking to my wardrobes where all my ties laid carefully.

Toodles turned to look at me"Sure! Teagan is super cool too!" She replied, smiling brightly.

I smiled seeing how fond Toodles was of Teagan. "Alright, well get yourself ready within 20 minutes?"

She nodded "Mhm!" She exclaime, running off quickly to her small wardrobe in the corner.

After a while of looking through the drawer, I decided on a black bow with a purple gem. Teagan had said the purple had suited me well.

I turned around to look for toodles. She came out with a black dress with a black bow in the back. It went quite well together.

"I'm ready! Can we go see Teagan now?" She asked ecstatically.

"Of course." I grabbed her hand, walking out of the room into the hallway.

1ST PERSON: Teagan's P.O.V.

I quickly finished setting the table with teacups and biscuits. "Now that's more like it." I said, clasping my hands together, feeling proud of myself.

I quickly grabbed the tea and placed it on the table before I heard a few knocks from the front door. Right on time.

I carefully made my way up to the door, opening it carefully. "Right on time Rodger! Come on in!" I said, letting him pass through.

"Thank you, it's a pleasure to be here." He said, giving me a small hug before letting go.

"Hey Teagan! I missed you!" I was greeted by a hug from toodles.

"Oh hello toodles! I missed you dearly aswell!" I gave her a quick hug, shutting the door afterwards.

"I made some tea and biscuits! I really hope you two like them." I said while pulling out the chairs for them.

"Ah, thank you Teagan, this looks amazing." Rodger said, sitting down.

"Of course Rodger, it's my pleasure. It's always nice to have you here." I smiled warmly at him. What a nice man.

I sat quietly, drinking some tea while admiring Rodger from time to time. The bow he picked out suited him very well. Purple had definitely been his color.

"So how was the case? Did it go well?" I asked, sipping my tea.

"Ah yes, it was great! It went well, especially with my little detective over here." He said, gesturing to toodles.

"I'm sure she was an amazing detective to have." I stated.

"Thank you Teagan!" Toodles spoke with a delighted tone.

"Wow Teagan, you really out did yourself with this tea and biscuits!" He announced blissfully with a smile.

"Ah, don't flatter me Rodger, but thank you. I really appreciate it." I spoke, reprocating a tender smile. Oh how he was such a well mannered man.

TIME SKIP: 2 HOURS
3RD PERSON P.O.V.

Time passed quickly with chatting and laughter between the two, toodles joining in every so often.

"Well Teagan, I believe I should get going, this little one is getting tired it seems." He said, pointing to a worn out toodles.

"Of course, feel welcome to stop anytime. You know I don't mind your company." I expressed happily while clasping my hands. Leading them to the door.

"Thank you for everything, it was a pleasure." He said as he picked and placed a small kiss on my hand.

A small blush landed on his face as he let go. "I will go now, thank you once again Teagan."

"Of course rodger."I said, as he left. Oh what a gentleman.
