I should've noticed sooner.(𝐕𝐄𝐄𝐗𝐒𝐇𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐘)

Combining 3 requests since a lot of you requested Vee x Shelly angst (bare with me guys)

1ST PERSON:VEE'S P.O.V.

It had been around 3:30 pm. Me and Astro had been talking for around an hour. Laying against the tree, talking about random topics to each other.

"Yeah.. I don't like photographs. I hate when they always sneak behind me to take pictures. It bothers me, thankfully my handler always makes them back off though." Astro stated, fiddling with something in his hands.

I rolled my eyes, I hate when people never respect his boundaries. It's literally even a rule! "I swear, what's their problem. You told them you don't want pictures, yet they still do?!! They seriously need to back off." I said, sounding pissed off.

"I wish it worked like that Vee, but they probably never would. Plus, our main visitors are children, what would you expect from them?" I suppose he was right.

"I guess, I just wish it was handled better." I sighed.

"It's alright, but anyways...How's Shelly? I saw you two talking yesterday." He asked.

"Annoying..as always..." I muttered

"Vee, be nice." Astro frowned visibiliy giving a unapproving glare.

"What? She's always pissing me off every day! She's so energetic and happy all the time. She never leaves me alone! I don't understand how people even deal with her all the time!" I announced. She was the definition of annoying.

Astro stared at me, then paused, looking behind me. "Vee." Astro said, his voice sounding a little off. A small amount of sniffling could be heard behind me.

"Thats really what you think of me? I'm just someone who always annoys you?" Tears flowed down her cheeks. A small amount of guilt washing over me.

Astro stood up "N-no Shelly, I promise she didn't mean it, right Vee?" He glared at me angrily.

I tried to speak, but nothing could come out. I usually never feel this way with guilt. God, why did I have to feel bad?

"No Astro, I heard enough." Her voice cracking up, she ran off.

Astro stared at me, looking even more pissed off then before."Vee, go apologize, now." He said in a serious tone.

"...fine." I whispered quietly, walking off to where she left.

I walked through many hallways, searching left and right. Nobody, where was she?

"Shelly?" I yelled. "Are you here? I'm sorry okay?!" I announced sort of pissed off. I still felt guilty, but I still didn't want to apologize.

I looked down the room hallway, there she was, crying.

"Shelly I-"

"Just leave me alone Vee." She cried "I don't know what I ever did to you but be kind!" She exclaimed.

"Shelly-"

"NO VEE, I DON'T GET IT. I'VE DONE EVERYTHING TO BE NICE TO EVERYONE! BUT NOBODY EVER SEES ME AS ANYTHING! I'M TIRED OF FEELING LEFT OUT ALL THE TIME AND JUST BEING CALLED ANNOYING. I JUST WANT SOMEONE TO SEE ME FOR SOMETHING MORE THEN ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! I TRIED MY BEST TO GET YOU TO LIKE ME BUT IT NEVER WORKED. I TRIED TO BE NICE AS POSSIBLE BUT IN THE END, IT WAS JUST FOR NOTHING. JUST TELL ME, WHAT CAN I DO TO AT LEAST MEAN SOMETHING TO YOU BUT SOMEONE WHO ALWAYS PISSES YOU OFF?" She screamed, her tears crashing down harder then before.

I didn't know what to say, I froze. My body started to become tense. "I-Im sorry, I really didn't know you felt that way. I should've noticed sooner. "

"OF COURSE YOU DIDN'T, NOBODY DOES VEE. NOBODY." She screamed loudly, still crying.

Words couldn't manage to come out, I just stood and stared at her frightened and filled of guilt.

"Just go. Leave me alone Vee." she stated sincerely.

"I-.."I'm sorry." I muttered out softly before turning around and leaving the hall. Crap, I messed up.
