Feng Lai looked at Liu Yu blankly: "What is marriage?"

Liu Yu smiled and patted his head gently: "This can only be understood but cannot be expressed in words. You will understand it when it is time for you to understand it. So, until you understand it, you should go back to sleep."

Feng Lai didn't move. Liu Yu looked at him for a long time, and finally sighed as if she had given up: "Okay, I will stay with you until you fall asleep. Come back to the room." She took Feng Lai's hand and walked towards his room. She wanted to leave, but Feng Lai stopped and didn't move for a moment. He looked at Liu Yu, with the moonlight and Liu Yu's silhouette printed in his red eyes, "Then I won't sleep."

If he doesn't fall asleep, Liu Yu will always stay with him.

Liu Yu was startled, looking into the boy's eyes, and suddenly felt that she had raised this child to be too dependent on her...

Liu Yu was cruel about sleeping separately. Feng Lai clung to Liu Yu for a few days. Liu Yu thought about it and thought that maybe Feng Lai's world was too monotonous and there was nothing else except her. Liu Yu caught a bird and gave it to him. She originally planned to make it a pet, but she didn't expect that after Feng Lai got the bird, he was so happy that he stopped pestering Liu Yu.

Liu Yu was very pleased, but a few days later, the little bird died suddenly. It must have been that he couldn't stand the increasingly powerful monster aura in Feng Lai.

Feng Lai came to look for Liu Yu holding the bird's body: "Liu Yu, what's wrong with it? Why doesn't it move and doesn't look at me?" Feng Lai's eyes were so sad that Liu Yu couldn't bear to look at them, so she touched Feng Lai’s head said: "The bird is dead."

Feng came to see her: "What does it mean to be dead?"

"It means that I will never move again, and I will never be able to open my eyes to look at you again." Liu Yu explained to him, "It means... losing it."

"Why……"

"Probably...it's because you don't know how to control your own power."

Feng Lai looked blank and didn't ask Liu Yu anymore. He just buried the bird with her. From then on, Feng Lai never raised a bird again, nor did he pester Liu Yu to sleep with him.

Feng Lai's power was still growing. Liu Ming ordered Liu Yu to take Feng Lai to the place where the monsters were tamed every day, in order to make Feng Lai familiar with other monsters and learn how to subdue them.

Although Liu Yu was still uneasy, but thinking of the power of his flames before, she still took Feng Lai there, but stayed beside Feng Lai every step of the way, fearing that some monsters would come and inadvertently hurt Feng Lai.

However, Liu Yu did not expect that the one who was injured in the end was herself, and the one being protected... was also her.

When the barrier made of flames spread out around him, Feng Lai stared at the monsters outside the barrier with blood-red eyes.

Outside the barrier, those bloodthirsty guys surrounded them. Liu Yu covered her arm that was accidentally scratched by a monster beast and gritted her teeth: "It's my fault for being careless." She looked at the one on the ground that had been killed by Feng Lai.

The little demonic beast that was burned to ashes and she sighed, "These guys have smelled the smell of blood. I'm afraid they are going to be evil today." There were at least dozens of demonic beasts in the periphery, staring at her and Feng Lai, only to find one. When the opportunity comes, they will pounce on her and Feng Lai and gnaw them clean.

Liu Yu frowned, Feng Lai had not grown up yet, and he would inevitably be at a disadvantage against so many monsters... She was anxious, but she saw Feng Lai turn to look at her: "Don't be afraid." He said, "I'll take you out no matter what."
