Matthew Johnson
It is difficult to believe that today is the homecoming dance and around the beginning of October.
Unfortunately, I do not have a date, so I am going with my friends.
I already had my colors picked out, but I wanted it to feel like Sarah was with me, so I chose her favorite color, lavender, and paired it with a light green, which I believe is a great color combination.
Hey what time are we going to the park for pictures again? Sorry, I forgot I texted in the groupchat.
Carter texted back at around 4:35.
Tiffany replied, "Yes, that is what we agreed on."
Oh okay cool I responded back.
It was around 1:30 p.m., and we all went to the homecoming football game and had a blast seeing Cody, Monty, Santino, and others play. They unfortunately lost by one point, but that is okay.
After the game, I went home and dressed for the dance.
We all agreed that Jayson would be the driver this time, but he would drive Tiffany's Ford Explorer so everyone could fit.
Jayson picked up Buffy, Carter, and me, while Tiffany and Cody were also in the car.
We went to the park and took some pictures with many people.
Cody got some pictures with Tino, Monty, Jake, Nick, and Sebastian, and even with us, which was surprising because we are not very popular.
I also took pictures with other people I have gotten to know a little better this year, such as Sheri, Jenny, Niesha, Tanesha, and Aiysha.
Tiffany and Cody had to get their brother and sister pictures for their parents, and it was nice to see them at home with their children.
Tino and his younger sister Kathryn had to take pictures together, and they looked so excited to do so.
Ashton wanted photos with all of us, which was so adorable.
I never imagined that a little boy would be so excited about pictures with people in suits and ties, and girls in dresses, but Ashton is full of surprises, which is awesome. I thought to myself.
Ashton took photos with Jayson, Buffy, Carter, Cody, Monty, Tino, and me. It was adorable that we all got to hold him in the photos, and he was so happy about it.
Cody's younger siblings, Collin and Maddy, asked their parents if they could spend some time together with Ashton if they were allowed. They both said yes, but they needed to go ask the Smiths if they were okay.
I heard Maddy and Colin ran up to Steve and Michelle and said, "Mr and Mrs Smith, could we please have a play date with Ashton?"
Of course, after we left the park, I heard the Smith's replay.
Yay, I heard them say.
They both looked very happy.
We were about to leave after taking pictures when Marissa made a surprise visit for Jayson's junior homecoming.
Jesus Christ, here we go again. Buffy said:
Chill out buff I think Marissa wants to only get a few photos with Jayson and Ashton, it is not going to take too long, you know I said for her
Yeah, you are correct. She responded.
After Marissa took pictures with Jayson and Ashton, we eventually left around 5:45.
The dance did not begin until 6:30, so we had some time.
We finally arrived at the dance, and we had a blast!
Tiffany started talking to her friend Brenton more, and I am not going to lie, they would make such a cute couple.
And then I saw Carter and Monty talking, and they appear to be really good friends, which makes me happy.
I do not have my crush to see at this dance, which is sad, but hopefully Sarah gets out soon.
The entire night was enjoyable, and the music was fantastic. They played music from the 1970s to the present.
The dance ended at 11:00 p.m., and we returned home.
We dropped off Buffy, Carter, and then me.
After being dropped off at home, I watched some television and spent time with family.
I unexpectedly received a call from the hospital to learn that Sarah is out of the hospital, which made me very excited.
I am going to visit her tomorrow, but right now I just want to spend time with you guys.
