The Race Car Driver

Chapter 3

Yoko's POV

I woke up feeling recharge, I opened my eyes as I stretched and I can see the sun shining brightly outside. I sat on the bed as I crack my neck shaking the sleepiness in my system and when I am fully awake I was surprise that I slept in Faye's room I quickly got up since I felt embarrassed.

When I reach the living room I saw Faye stretching as well clad in her sports bra and goodness gracious I almost drooled when I saw her back muscle and before I can even avert my eyes she looks at me and my blush betrayed me again because I know I am as red as a tomato right now.

"What's happening to you Yoko? You can't be having nasty thoughts about Faye" I battled with myself.

"Good Morning sleepy head. How's your sleep?" Faye greeted me as she wears her muscle tee and oh boy she looked handsome doing that.

"I slept well, sorry for crashing on your bed" I apologized.

"It's fine Yoko you can crash my bed anytime you want" she replied smiling at me.

"I'll cook some breakfast you stay here, don't bail on me again don't sleep" she said in a playful tone. I rolled my eyes on her antics but I find cute. In a short span of time I feel comfortable with Faye.

"I'll help with breakfast" I answered.

"All right" she answered back then she pulled me towards the kitchen.

The both of us did our part to prepare our breakfast me preparing our morning coffee and her whipping a classic egg, sausage and toast. After cooking we ate our breakfast in silence, but my eyes would betray me because I kept on glancing her way.

"Thick brows, tiger eyes, pointed nose, jawline and plump lips that I wonder what those lips can do to me"

I snap back to reality once I heard her ask me a question.

"Do you wanna come with me?" Faye asked.

"Come with you? Where?" I asked her back.

"To Pattaya. Since I'll be your soul guardian till Charlotte comes back I plan to bring you to the beach you know to help you relax" she said smiling at me.

"I would love to. I love going at the beach, it brings me peace" I answered giddily excited for our trip to Pattaya.

"All right that settled then. We will go tomorrow so you pack your things after breakfast" she said and I nod as an answer.

After we ate our breakfast, I clean the table then Faye wash the dishes. I lounge by the living room while waiting for her to finish. I was just browsing with the channel's here and I came across an interview of Faye, she's wearing a track suit and she looks so hot wearing it.

"So she's a race car driver" I thought. I can't help but be mesmerized watching her on screen and by the way she answered all those questions she looks so cool doing her craft. After watching her interview I settled watching Spongebob and that's where Faye finally joined me. We sat far away from each other while watching.

I fidgeted on my seat since I wanted to ask some questions but I was too shy to start a conversation and I think she notices my discomfort since she spoke.

"Are you okay?" she asked looking at me.

"I am. I just wanted to ask you some question, you know for me to know you better" I answered looking down as I was too shy to look into her eyes. I heard her chuckling the she turned off the television.

"All right. Operation: Know Faye Better it is" she answered turning at me. I finally looked at her she's smiling at me I smiled back and it made me at ease.

"How long have you known my sister?" I started.

"Hmm we've known each other since college. We just bump into each other when I came back here and it's a blessing since I am looking for a place to stay since I will permanently stay here in Thailand" Faye answered which earned a nod from me.

I continued asking her about herself, her hobbies, her favorites and many more questions that I could think off since I want to keep talking to her.

We ended our Q and A when she needs to run some errands outside and she said that she'll be back before dinner.

"Hey do you want to drink tonight? Just chill drinking since we will be going to Pattaya tomorrow" Faye asked me before she left. Since it's been a long time since I last had a drink I agreed.

"Yeah sure. I'll cook our dinner tonight" I answered.

"Cool. I'll grab some drinks from my cousins bar do you have any request?" Faye asked while she's grabbing her car keys.

"I'll drink anything. Surprise me" I said winking at her and I saw her blush. Finally I got back at her it's unfair that I'm the only one who's always blushing here.

"I'll get going then. Please lock the door. See you at dinner Yoko" she answered after composing herself after blushing I smiled as I followed her towards the front door. She goes inside her car and with a beep of she goes I waived at her and smiled.

"A start of something good" I thought with smile.

Faye's POV

I had a huge grin in my face as I remember the moments I had with Yoko earlier. I hate to leave her alone and I just want to stay at home to be with her and bond with her but I needed to prepare some few things for our trip to Pattaya tomorrow which I am glad she agreed going with me.

After grabbing some necessities for Yoko and I's trip, I arranged them already at the back of my car to lessen the things that I need to prepare tomorrow and so I can help Yoko prepare as well. After making sure that everything is prepared I went to Engfa's bar to grab few drinks since I promised Yoko for a drink tonight.

"Zup Fa" I said after I entered my cousins bar. Her bar's still close and I saw her preparing few things as well for the opening.

"Zup Faye" she answered but I think she's wondering why I am here since she's frowning.

"I know you're wondering why I am here. But I need to get some drinks for a friend tonight" I answered before she even ask.

"A friend? Who's that friend?" Engfa questioned.

"Yoko, Charlotte's sister" I answered. Then I saw Engfa grinned and I just shake my head on her she's going to tease me for sure.

"Yoko's here? Your crush is finally here?" Engfa said shaking my shoulder.

"Yes she's here my Yoko is here" I said with a wide smile in my face.

Engfa knows how much I like Yoko which is ironic isn't it since I haven't met her before but what I can do I was smitten when I first saw her picture. And now that she's here in flesh that simple crush grows into something more I can't say that it's already love since it is to early and heck I don't even know if she would like me back and the fact that she had a fiancee means that she is straight and that made me sad. I was still lost in my thought when Engfa spoke again.

"Go grab everything it's on the house" she said.

"No I will pay." I insisted but she shakes her head.

"Treat this an early congratulatory gift" she winked at me then she continued doing her task. I know what she meant by that. I hope so too Fa, I hope so too.

Grabbing the drinks I needed, I walked back towards Engfa since I needed to go home it's almost dinner and Yoko's surely waiting for me then I texted her.

"On my way home Yoko"
"This is Faye. I got your number from Charlotte"

"Goodluck Soldier. Drink moderately" Engfa said when I said my goodbye. I chuckled at her antics when she salutes. With a final wave I go outside her bar towards my car, driving home, to my home Yoko.
