Final Prologue Chapter 4: The Future ahead

Within a couple of days, the three children's lives have changed forever. Shark and Rio miraculously survived the car accident that killed their parents. As if some otherworldly force saved them. As for Y/n however. The harsh cold that his small body went through, plus the injuries to his body, had seriously damaged him. The stress on his body had made some of his hair strands lose their pigment, turning them grayish (You can pick where these strands appear on the hair).

After a couple of weeks, Rio and Shark were able to make a full recovery. But now as orphans, they have to find a new home to stay in. Unfortunately, this means they won't be seeing Y/n for quite a while. Rio and Shark were both devastated upon hearing the life-changing news. But they aren't the only ones with a bad ending.

Y/n had also made a full recovery (longer than Rio and Shark). But his mind had been torn to shreds from the traumatizing event he went through. All he did was stare at people. Even when the doctors try to console him, all he does is look at them with no soul in his eyes. Like something had taken his emotions and feelings away.

Since then, Rio and Shark have been relocated to different houses together. Never leaving each other's side. Y/n had gone through massive therapy sessions before coming to his senses. Many people felt bad for what had happened to him. Luckily, two shining stars have come back to rescue him again.

The head chef of the hospital flips over some notes that he has on his digital pad. He sees the reports of the three children in good status.

Chief: "Good. Hopefully, they can find homes for them."

He walks through a hallway going to his office before noticing two people. A muscular man with gorgeous women next to him. He sees that they look like they are lost. He walks up to them.

Chief: "Do you need something?"

Kazuma: "Oh, yes me and my wife have been looking for someone but we can't find the room their in."

Chief: "And who that might be?"

Kazuma: "A boy. He's young and has f/c hair."

Chief: "The one who came in badly injured?"

Kazuma: "Yes, that's the one!"

Chief: "Are both of you his guardians? If so, you gotta tell me your names."

Mira: "My name is Mira and this is my husband, Kazuma. We aren't his guardians but we're the ones who found him. The poor boy was shivering from head to toe when we first found him."

Chief: "Hmm."

He opens his pad and quickly scans through the report of Y/n. Showing and identifying both Mira and Kazuma being the adults who brought him in.

Chief: "Hmm. Wait until after the other doctors have finished putting in the stitches he needs. Then, you'll be able to talk to him. Here, let me show you where you can sit."

He takes both of them through a door where the waiting area is. Meanwhile, the doctors bring an asleep Y/n back to his room after fixing him up.

M.Doc: "Pulse?"

2M.Doc: "Stable."

M.Doc: "Any sign of infection?"

F.Doc: "Negative, Sir"

M.Doc: "Good."

They place everything back where they were when they first took him out. Y/n continues to sleep through all the noise they have been making. They closed a window that was open and pulled the curtains to block it.

M.Doc: "This should be the last time he needs to have surgery. Now it's time to give him some rest."

All of the doctors leave the room and close the door. Leaving Y/n in a dark room with complete silence. The only thing that makes any sound is the noise coming from the other side of the door. And so, after a couple of hours pass by, something unexpected happened.
