Y/n grabs a small bag with some money inside. He puts on his small shoes and grabs his jacket hanging on a ladder. He walks towards the kitchen where the family who have taken him in, the Tsukumos, are.
Y/n: "I'm going out to the carnival."
Kazuma, who was occupied with Yuma, waves at him.
Kazuma: "Have fun kiddo! Make sure to have lots of fun!"
Yuma Pouts and whines.
Yuma: "I wanna go to the carnival too!"
Mira: "You just have to wait one more year, Yuma. Then you can go by yourself."
Yuma: "Aw man!"
Mira walks up to Y/n and gives him a bag with two sandwiches.
Mira: "Make sure you don't get lost over there, ok?"
Y/n: "Yes Mrs. Tsukumo."
She smiles and puts on a small watch on his arm.
Mira: "Remember, tap the side 2 times to call us when-"
Y/n: "When I'm in trouble, I know."
Mira: "Now look who became super smart!"
She softly pinches both sides of his cheeks and wobbles them for a bit before letting go. She pats him and waves at him. He nods back at her and leaves for the door. He pulls open the door and goes outside of the house. He closes the door behind him and takes a deep breath. He leaves the property of the house and walks on the sidewalk where the direction of the Carnival is.
Heartland's Carnival
After a while of walking, he reaches the Carnival. He walks towards the entrance. Since he was a child, he's able to get in without paying. Once in, he looks around and sees all the flashy colors from each building he has his sights on. He looks at the big rides ahead of him. Hearing the people scream with joy gets him more excited. With one small hop, he runs to the center and begins to choose which to go on first.
Moments of his time in the Carnival flash by. Going on rides that have spinning cups, flying spaceships, and a merry-go-round. After finishing a ride that lets you swing in the air, he goes to a nearby bench that seems a little isolated from the carnival. He takes a seat as he's tired from all the fun he's having.
Y/n: "I wish Yuma was here. It would be super duper ultra fun!"
After taking his break, he hops off and walks toward where he hasn't been yet. But as he was looking around not paying attention, he bumped into someone. He and the other person both fell to the ground. They rubbed their heads at the same time.
???: "Watch it!"
Y/n: "Sorry! I didn't see you th-"
Both of them finally look at each other. They stopped rubbing their heads and became quiet. After about 5 seconds had passed, the other person broke the silence.
???: "Y/n?"
Y/n eyes couldn't believe who he was looking at. But the reflection in his eyes says otherwise. A girl who has long blue hair, a pink long skirt, and overalls. But most importantly, dark pink eyes that Y/n recognize to his core. It was none other than Rio Kastle.
(If you're wondering, the description came from ep 78 when Shark was having a flashback after the intro.)
Y/n: "Rio?"
