Day off

I woke up to see Kyra still asleep so I quietly got out of bed to go make a cup of tea. When the kettle was boiling, Lia came down.
''Hey, how'd you sleep?'' she asked whilst making breakfast.
''It was pretty good.'' I said not wanting to say I had slept with Kyra. I didn't want her to think there was something going on between us because we just met and I didn't want her to say anything to Leah. She can be very overprotective at times.
''You want a cup of tea while we wait for them two to wake up.'' I asked. I thought I might as well as I was making one for myself.
''Why not. By the way I'll have half a teaspoon of sugar in mine.'' she responded.
Lia was getting the eggs out of the fridge to make a full English breakfast. The frying pan sizzled and popped when the egg was nearly cooked. Once me and Lia had finished our tea, I went up to wake Leah and Kyra. I went up to Leah first and she was snuggled up to her pillow. I shook her arm to wake her up and with an instant she greeted me.
''Please just give more minutes.'' she whined.
''Well Lia has made your favourite for breakfast.'' I said trying to convince her.
''Okay then I'll be down in two minutes. I just need to get dressed.'' she replied.
I made my way to mine and Kyra's room. In my bed she was sleeping so peacefully. I didn't want to wake her up but it was nearly nine o'clock.
''Kyra, it's time to get up.'' I said shaking her waist.
''Noooo, it's too early.'' she groaned.
I tried to pursue her by saying ''We're having a full English breakfast.''
''Can you just lay with me for 5 more minutes.'' she said with her face down in the pillow.
''Kyra you need to get up now.'' I said very stern. She looked up at me with puppy eyes.
''Fine. Those eyes are too convincing.'' I said which made us giggle. I got in and she wrapped her arms around me tight.
We went downstairs stairs after and Leah had already finished her breakfast.
''What took you so long you only had to wake Kyra up.''
''Well it took a lot of convincing.'' I said almost instantly. Everyone one just laughed. I looked at Kyra and we made eye contact for a little while until Leah said something.
''So what are we gonna do today as we have a day off.'' she asked.
''How about we go to the beach and maybe we could hire a boat.'' Lia suggested.
''Yeah that a good idea.'' I said.
''I'm down for that.'' Kyra said very confident.
We all went upstairs to pack. I had wore my swimsuit underneath my hoodie and shorts and in my bag was a change of clothes as the one I am currently wearing may get a bit sandy. Leah had packed a separate bag of food in case we got hungry when we were there.
Once we had arrived, we had laid out our stuff on the sand where Lia and Leah started to lay in the sun. Me and Kyra started to wander around but not far from the others. We were just chatting about our previous clubs and how we were looking forward to the new season. I think Kyra started to get a bit bored so we headed bath to Leah and Lia to see how they were doing. When we got there I had a quick snack before saying something.
''So did you hire the boat.'' I thought as we hadn't gone on it yet.
''Yeah I did but I don't think that Leah wants to as she gets a bit seasick so I'll stay with her.'' Lia mentioned.
''Oh yeah I forgot about that. Well Kyra do you want to go on the boat with me, if not we can just stay here on the beach.'' I said hoping that she would say yes.
''Of course I will but are you a good driver.'' Kyra said.
''Kyra I'm good at lot of things.'' I said confidently.
''Sure you are, let's get going then. Bye guys.'' she said waving to the girls as we walked side by side to the dock. When we set off in the small but strong waves, me and Kyra started to chat.
''So you ready for our first match of the league against Brighton.'' she asked sounding like she was excited for it.
''Well I'm excited to having the chance to be playing with my sister but to be honest, I'm pretty nervous about it. I'm probably not gonna play anyway.'' I said doubting myself.
''What do you mean, you are such a star player. Why else would Jonas sign you. I sure you'll do great and maybe even score a couple.'' she said positively.
''If you say so.'' I replied.
''By the way, are you sure you've drove a boat before. Your driving is awful.'' she shot out.
''It's actually harder than you think why don't you try drive it.'' I said as if she could do any better. She stood up and came over. Her arms wrapped around me and her hands went on top of mine. Again this feeling came back and my cheeks went red like a rose. She softly steered the boat along the waves. While she was doing this, I looked up and admired her concentrated face.
''What are you looking at, huh'' she said when she glimpsed down at me.
''I was looking at the good view.''I said
''What, my face.'' she said with a little chuckle.
''Yeah, I guess so.'' I said blushing a little bit but not enough to notice. We made deep eye contact before Kyra leaned down looking at me and the then my lips. We both kissed passionately but it was soft and slow. It was impossible to describe. All I know is that it felt good.

Leah's POV:
I lay next to Lia who looked like she was about to fall asleep. In the distance was the boat that my sister was on. It was too far to see why they were doing but it looked like a bumpy ride. I probably would have lasted two seconds without throwing up on that boat.
''You know, I think there might be something going on between them two. I don't want make any assumptions about the but they hey have been really close lately.'' I said with suspicion.
''I think you're right but we must respect their privacy. Do you wanna start packing so that when they get back we can make a move home.'' Lia said drowsy. It was clear that she wanted some sleep.
''Sure'' I said when getting up.

Me and Kyra and stopped the boat for a break and to relax. We sat at the front where she wrapped her arms around me and our fingers were interlocked. My phone had buzzed, it was a message from Leah saying to start heading back so we could go home and shower off.
''I am really enjoying this but I'm afraid we have to go back.'' I said wishing this could last forever.
''But I just want to cuddle you as long as I could possibly imagine.'' she begged nearly making me want to stay.
''If we don't go back then they will leave us here.'' I asserted.
''Okay but I'm driving us back this time.'' she immediately said.
''Well, I guess you were the better driver.'' I said, giving her a small kiss on the cheek while she walked to the steering wheel of the boat.
When we got home, I unpacked my bag and headed to the shower. I got out and rummaged for a pair of PJs. I could only find a pair of shorts.
''Hey, what you looking for?'' Kyra questioned.
''I can't find a hoodie to wear to bed.'' I said in a slight angry tone, as it was getting me stressed.
''Here, you can have one of my hoodies.'' she said having her arm out with a folded hoodie. We both got into my bed.
''Kyra, I just want to say that I really like you and I think that you feel the same way.'' I bursted out.
''I like you too and I'm glad you said that because I was scared you didn't feel the same.'' she said calmly.
''One thing tho.'' I shot out.
''Yeah, what is it.'' she said interested.
''Can we take it slow.'' I said desperate.
''Of course'' she said, with me snuggling her arms that were wrapped around me. We both eventually drifted off to sleep.
