As I got ready into my outfit, I took a glance at Kyra from across the room. Kyra was already stunning like she always is. She wore a small top with a leather jacket and some baggy ripped jeans. Kyra looked up as if she knew I was looking at her. I had dark jeans, a white buttoned shirt, and a jacket so I wasn't cold.
"You look hot," Kyra complimented, gazing at me.
"You don't look too bad yourself," I replied, a grin spreading across my face. She came over and gave me a quick peck on the cheek before we went downstairs. Leah and Lia were already by the front door. When they saw us coming down the stairs Leah had said.
"Come on, some people are already there" she grabbed the car keys and swung them around her finger.
"Well I had to make sure I looked good before ever left." I replied.
We walked out to the driveway. Me and Kyra got into the back seats and we set off the bar.
As soon as we arrived, the team was already cheering, welcoming us with some drinks. We claimed our spots and began downing the drinks.
Laughter filled the air as we spoke about good memories together. I found myself staring at Kyra, our eyes meeting across the crowded room. She smiled, her eyes sparkling with a warmth that gave me that same feeling again.
Katie had got back up to get each of us another round of drinks. Our minds were racing and we were just partying to the beats of the music.
It got later into the night, the music got louder. Bright lights surrounded us all flashing into our eyes. The dance floor became more busy, pulling us in. Everyone had their own vibe but some people stumbled having no clue what they were doing. I saw Kyra still sat down in the corner spot. I dragged her by the hand into the dance floor. I begged her to dance and that it doesn't matter if anyone sees you. Her body moved along with mine as the music played on. Kyra was a natural, this moment between us brought my adrenaline out. I was taken by her energy.
When the music finally stopped, me and Kyra went back to our spots of the bar. Our spot was empty because everyone was still out in the dance floor.
"That was amazing." I said, leaning in to kiss her.
"You're incredible." Kyra smiled and kissed me back.
"Do you want I drink?" I shouted because the music was so loud.
"Sure why not." she said standing up. She took my hand as I guided her through the big crowd. Me and Kyra basically stayed at the bar for the rest of the night. We ordered shots over and over again until we found it hard to walk.
We eventually went back to the girls, who were now back in the corner. The bond between the team had felt like we were one big family.
When we were outside all laughing, Leah came over and said that we had to go.
"What but the party isn't finished." I said slurring my words.
"And you are very drunk so let's go." she said pushing me to the car.
Leah only had a couple drinks as she needed to drive us home and she was quite sensible on a night out. Kyra and Lia were already in the car. They weren't as drunk as I was but were still too drunk to drive. The car journey was filled with laughter about the night's events.
We arrived at the house and Lia and Leah went straight up the bed. Me and Kyra stayed at n the sofa a bit just having a small chat.
"You wanna glass of water, cause I'm going to get one" Kyra said standing up.
"I can make it you know" I said leaning forward.
"Nope. Sorry, just don't trust you when you are this drunk" she pushed me back onto the sofa.
"Ok then, I'll just be waiting for you on the sofa." I said just lying down.Kyra's POV:
In the car journey home, we spoke about the night out but it mostly y/n slurring words about things she had made up. When we got home Lia and Leah went upstairs because they were tired from the night. I was pretty tired myself but I decided to stay downstairs with y/n to keep an eye on her and calm her before we went to bed.
On the sofa I listened to her talking about the night and how much she said she loved me.
"You wanna glass of water, cause I'm going to get one" I sat and waited for a response. Even if she said no I was still gonna make her one.
"I can make it you know" she said trying to be independent.
I didn't want her to break anything as she was in this drunk state. "Nope. Sorry, just don't trust you when you are this drunk."
I pushed her slightly onto the sofa so that she was lying down.
"Ok then, I'll just be waiting for you on the sofa." she said looking up at the ceiling.
I walked through the hallway into the kitchen. I reached to the top of the cupboard to get two small glasses. I took one and began to fill it with the water from the fridge. I'm once that was done I had set it down. Before I could grab the other one, I felt somebody arms wrap around my waist. She pulled me to the hallway and pushed me against the wall. I dropped my hands to her waist as we started to kiss passionately.
__ __ __ __I stood up from the sofa getting a bit bored. I saw Kyra filling the glass with water. I snuck behind her when she placed it on the side. I pulled her to the hallway and pushed her to the side. I started to kiss her passionately and I felt her bring her hands on my waist rubbing her thumb against it. We slowly went upstairs to our bedroom. When we got in I shut the door behind and as I turned around she pushed me on the bed and started to kiss the side of my neck. She tugged my shirt wanting to take it off but wanted to know if she could. I tapped the side of her arm to let her know she could. She slowly unbuttoned my shirt whilst kissing every part of my body as she went down.
We were both pretty tired after and fell asleep quite easily. I was wrapped up in Kyra's arms with our legs intertwined.
