Ink and Paper

During the lecture, almost every student's eyes were fixed on the professor, rather than the information on the boards or anything he was saying. Except for Eros. Despite his initial reaction and thoughts, he realized that learning about the different ways poems can rhyme, or not rhyme at all, and still be good either way, was quite interesting. Given as Eros was a very bright and creative student, he started writing down words that rhymed, words that didn't rhyme but had something in common, and words that didn't rhyme and didn't have anything in common either. The page of his notebook was pretty much filled with ink at that point, and his expression was one that practically screamed "I'm so concentrated that smoke might start coming out of my ears".
The young brunette was very good at multitasking, which resulted in him listening to what the professor was saying without actually looking at him or seeming like he was present. And due to that fact, he unwillingly caught the attention of Mr. Felix.

Felix's POV

To be completely fair, this is exactly what I expected was going to happen. I genuienly don't know how many times I have to repeat to these younglings that I will give them tests as often as weekly, and I will fail them if they don't start learning. Seriously, it's such an annoying way to start the year every year. And from the looks of it, about...no one is listening. All eyes on me, as always.

As he continued to scan the room, his eyes landed on a curly haired boy whose eyes never left the notebook he had in front of him. It definitely raised questions, considering the fact that compared to the others that were distracted by their friends or anything else of the sort, this boy was concentrated and showed interest in what he was doing. Perhaps an artist? Only artists pay this much attention to their work during his classes. He decided to leave him alone to do his work for now, but he will stop him after the class was over to check in and see what he was so distracted by.

His voice echoed in the immense room, loud and clear, despite the fact that nobody was really paying attention.

"Alright, everyone. I did my job, taught you the lesson I had in the schedule for today, now your only job is to learn it. I will be calling out random students next time to explain what we did today, and if you will not be able to answer, you will be sanctioned. Class dismissed for everyone, except for the young boy in the back with the curly hair. I'd like you to stay behind. Everyone else, have a good rest of your day!"

Felix's tone was strict and demanding, causing Eros to jump a bit after realizing that he was talking to him. Also, the fact that everyone's eyes were now on him really didn't help his situation at all. He started gathering his things and taking his time putting them back in his bag on purpose, waiting for everyone else to leave before finally aproaching the principal at his desk. His cheeks were bright red and he couldn't bring himself to look up from the floor. Who would've thought the carpet was so beautiful? Oh, and his shoes were dirty, he definitely had to take care of that once he got back home. Right, as well as burning those stupid rules.
His panicked thoughts were disrupted by the same husky voice that made him forget about any rules and morals at the beggining of the class.

"What's your name?" Felix simply asked. His intention of continuing very clear.

"Eros. My name is Eros Nikolau, sir. Did I do anything wrong?" Eros's voice was filled with fear and guilt, aware of the fact that he sould've at least pretended to look at him while he was teaching, despite him still being able to pay attention without doing so.

"Mhm, like the Greek god? I hope you love your name, because I would've killed to be named after pretty much any Greek god. Besides the point, could you tell me what had you so distracted during my class?"
