PERIOD OF VENGEANCE

Chapter 2

In Blank Ink Percy has just gotten there. He finds that Zandile, Nothando and Andile are with IT specialist. 'What is going on?' ask Percy. 'Someone is trying to hack the system, but I have stopped him or her and if he or she tries again I will be notified and I will be able to see that person's exact location' says the IT specialist. 'That is good, Andile why did you not just tell me that? you know how worried I was?' says Percy. 'Sorry man, the call just disconnected' says Andile. 'We have been waiting here for the person to try again but he or she has not' says Nothando. 'Let us go back to work, the IT will handle this' says Zandile. They go back to work. 

In Tshego and Lwazi's company they are with Michele and their new designer Qhayiya in Tshego's office. 'As I said yesterday, I need two dresses for a very important event that is happening in four weeks' time, will you able to do this for me?' ask Michele. 'Don't worry mam, we will do it' says Tshego. 'We already have some designs ready do you want to choose in them?' ask Lwazi. 'Yes, you can show me' says Michele. Lwazi go to take a book from his office and show Michele. 'I really like this one' says Michele pointing in one of the dresses in the book. 'Alright then, the second one we will work on it, and we will call you to see if you like it' says Tshego. 'That fine, I have to go now I will hear from you' says Michele standing up. 'Let me see you out' says Lwazi. They go out. 'The second dress will be designed by you, so we can see what you are capable of' says Tshego. 'Alright I will go get started then' says Qhayiya. She stands up and go in her office. 

At Hot Sip show Kabelo is with Noah and Njabulo interviewing them about their new book. 'Everyone help me welcome the faces you have been dying to see, these are the people who published the latest best-selling book called Period of Vengeance, Noah and Njabulo' says Kabelo. Noah and Njabulo wave to the audience. 'So, tell us what made you to open a publishing company while you have degrees?' ask Kabelo. 'Well, we thought there are people out there who want to tell their stories, but they don't have the means to, so we wanted them to use our company to tell their stories' says Noah. 'So, you just decided to switch from law to publishing, that is a drastic change don't you think?' says Kabelo. 'It is but KB you can never understand our reasons as Noah said it what we felt at that moment, and we decided to do it' says Njabulo. 'Alright, the audience is dying to see the writer of the book, will we ever see him or her? or we will only see the two of you?' says Kabelo. 'You are looking at the writer KB' says Njabulo. 'So, you are the writer of the book?' ask Kabelo shocked. 'Yes, I am the one who wrote the book' says Njabulo. 'Tell me what was going through your head when you wrote the book? is it talking about something you experienced or someone close to you experienced?' ask Kabelo. 'I was just sitting one day, and I thought about some people who do bad things to other people but never punished, I found myself getting so angry, and I started writing it down and ideas just kept coming to my head on how to punish them and I turned it to a book' says Njabulo. 'Wow that is some inspiration there, I have been reading some comments and people think you did it on purpose to release this book a day after Darkness sales started increasing is it true?' ask Kabelo. 'OfCourse it is not true KB; we were not even thinking about Darkness we were so nervous we did not think people would love the book this much' says Noah. Zandile close the laptop pissed. 'Who are these boys?' ask Percy angry. 'I don't know, just look at them they are lying, they knew what they were doing' says Zandile. 'It is fine not too much damage is done' says Nothando. 'Is the IT specialist done?' ask Percy. 'He has already left, he said he had somewhere to go but he will come back if the person tries to hack the system again' says Andile. ''This boy is a first-time writer how can he write a book this good?' ask Percy. 'It is strange, Andile try to find information about them, it looks like they will be a problem' says Zandile. 'Let me get on it' says Andile getting out. 

Later that day, at the Zulu mansion, at the table they are eating while talking. 'I have been thinking where I saw that guy' says Lwazi. 'Which guy?' ask Tshego. 'One of the guys from Twinkle books' says Lwazi. ' Yes, we met him at the bar' says Tshego. 'You mean you guys met one of those guys?' ask Andile. 'Yes, we even exchanged contacts' says Tshego. 'This is the perfect opportunity for us' says Nothando. 'How?' ask Zandile. 'Lwazi and Tshego can get the information we want about those boys' says Nothando. 'You are right, ...' Percy was cut by Zandile. 'No, let not involve my sons in this, Andile will deal with it' says Zandile. 'Come on Zandile, the only thing they have to do is befriend the guy then he will give the information on his own' says Percy. 'Uncle is right, he did seem lonely that day so it will be easy to get the information you need' says Lwazi. 'That is great because I could not find anything on them, it like they do not exist' says Andile. 'That is your excuse?' says Zandile pissed. 'If you think what I do for this company is useless then let's switch positions and you do it' says Andile angry. Zandile keep quiet. 'I did not think so, then it is settled you boys continue with the plan' says Andile. 'We are on it' says Tshego.
