PERIOD OF VENGEANCE

Chapter 8

Two days later, things have been quiet since Lwazi and Tshego went to clarify things at Hot Sip although they lost some clients some continued to work with them. At a hotel it is late, Percy has just gotten there he is here to see his girlfriend, he knocks once and the door open. 'Hy' says Percy looking at the beautiful woman looking at him. 'Hy, come in' says Ntando opening the wide, Percy gets in. 'I have been trying to call you for 2 days now' says Percy sitting on a chair. 'I am sorry I have been busy' says Ntando also sitting down. 'What is going on? what is all that you were saying on social media?' ask Percy looking at Ntando. 'That your nephews stole my design, they did' says Ntando. 'I did not know you are a fashion designer besides they don't know you so where did they get it?' says Percy calm. 'You don't know anything about me, I don't know all I know is that that was my design that Michele was wearing in that event' says Ntando unbothered. 'You are ruining their business' says Percy. 'So, what are you saying? that I should let them use my design and not pay me for it?' ask Ntando. 'So, it is money that you want?' ask Percy. 'What do you mean?' ask Ntando looking at him. 'I am saying that I will give you the money, but you must stay away from my family, I don't want to see you saying anything about Lwazi and Tshego on social media again do you hear me?' says Percy. 'Percy what are you saying? that your nephews must ruin our lives, and you will come and buy them out of that situation?' yell Ntando angry. 'What are you talking about? I am just...' Percy is interrupted by Ntando. 'Get out of my room' says Ntando going to open the door. 'Ntando you are jus...' Percy is interrupted by Ntando again. 'Get out' says Ntando pointing outside while holding the door, Percy goes out. Ntando close the door and sit on the floor and cry. 

At the Zulu house Zandile, Percy, Andile are talking in Percy's study. 'Since we have solved the problem Lwazi and  Tshego were facing, we can try to solve this Njabulo boy' says Percy. 'But how are we going to do that?' ask Andile. 'I have found out his address, maybe you can visit his home and try to find out what does he want' says Percy. 'He is going to talk to him?' ask Zandile. 'No, you are going to break in and try to find out his plan, I am sure he leaves it at home since he does not want his business partner to find out' says Percy. 'What if he finds nothing? after risking being seeing by people breaking inside a house' ask Zandile. 'No one will see him, this house is at the end of the street, I checked it out before coming home' says Percy. 'It is fine I will do it' says Andile. 'You must do it tomorrow during the day while he is at work' says Percy. 'Maybe you should take Lwazi and Tshego with you' says Zandile. 'Are you sure you want them to be part of this?' ask Andile. 'They are already a part of this' says Percy going out of the study. 'What is wrong with him today?' ask Andile. 'I don't know because we have found a way to pay our writer, I don't know what is stressing him' says Zandile also going out. Andile follow her and find Lwazi sitting in a sitting room watching soccer, he also sits down. 'Where is your brother?' ask Andile. 'He is out' says Lwazi. 'Has he started seeing someone?' ask Andile. 'I don't know anything' says Lwazi. 'You are lying, Tshego tells you everything, we are going somewhere tomorrow around 10 please tell your brother' says Andile. 'Can you go with Tshego only? I will be busy with a client around that time' says Lwazi. 'Alright please let him know' says Andile standing up. 'I will tell him' says Lwazi. 

 Njabulo, Top deck, Lunch Bar and Noah have just gone outside Twinkle books talking and laughing. They see a guy standing outside the car looking in their direction. 'Is that not your friend Noah?' ask Top deck looking at the guy. 'Oh, yah it him, see you guys tomorrow' says Noah going in his direction. Njabulo and the twins get in their cars and leave. 'Hy' says Noah. 'Hy, I hope it is not a problem that I came here to see you' says Tshego. 'No, it is not, I am actually happy to see you here' says Noah. 'Alright then can I...' Tshego is interrupted by Noah. 'Do you want to come to my place? it is cold out here' ask Noah. 'Your place?' ask Tshego. 'Yes, I will drive you home after, we can have dinner together' says Noah. 'I am not sure about that besides I came with my car so how will you come home then if you drive me home?' ask Tshego. 'What a bummer I just wanted you to know my place so I will find you there next time' says Noah. 'Come on' says Tshego laughing. 'You missed me? that is why you came to see me right?' ask Noah smiling. 'There is no reason' says Tshego touching the door of his car wanting to open it, Noah stops him by holding his hand. 'Wait, fine you did not miss me' says Noah. Tshego is standing with his back against the car while Noah is standing in front of him while holding his hand. 'I did miss you' says Tshego. 'You did?' ask Noah smiling again. 'I am leaving' says Tshego turning his back against Noah and opening his car and getting inside. 'Text me when you get home' says Tshego. 'Alright' says Noah after he blow a kiss, Tshego quickly leave. Noah laugh. 'Shit, how will I get home now?' says Noah taking out his phone and calling Njabulo to come and fetch him. 

At the hotel Qhayiya has just gotten in the room and find Ntando drinking sitting on the bed. 'Hey what is wrong? why are you drinking?' ask Qhayiya. 'Do you know what he said to me?' ask Ntando still drinking. 'Who are you talking about?' ask Qhayiya. 'He said he will give me money so I can stop talking about those monsters on social media' says Ntando. 'Who said that?' ask Qhayiya. 'Percy, just like he did back then' says Ntando. 'Ntando where did you see him?' ask Qhayiya. 'He was here, I have some dirty information about him, I am sure journalists would like to have information like that, and his business will suffer a major blow nobody like to associate themselves with a cheater' says Ntando. 'A cheater? let me guess you are the mistress?' ask Qhayiya. 'Yes, I am but my face will not be shown there, he will pay for what he said to me today' says Ntando. 'Let me handle that information I have a journalist I trust that can write the story' says Qhayiya. 'Thank you' says Ntando. 'Come stay with me in my house, you are falling apart staying here alone' says Qhayiya. 'Alright, I will come' says Ntando still drinking. 

The following day, at Twinkle books Top deck, Lunch Bar are working when Njabulo and Noah get in arguing. 'Come on man, it happened once' says Noah. 'I know, but you need to come with your car to work, I was getting ready to sleep man' says Njabulo. 'You know I don't like to drive in the morning' says Noah. 'Then why did you not request?' ask Njabulo. 'I was scared to go with a stranger at night in this town remember you said everyone in this town is our enemy, I can't go with an enemy alone at night' says Noah. 'Hey guys, I won't fetch you next time' says Njabulo going to his office. 'What are you fighting about?' ask Top deck. 'That I called him to fetch me last night' says Noah. 'Why did you not ask your friend to drop you?' ask Lunch Bar. 'I am still trying to date him, which means I am trying to impress him, I could not ask him that' says Noah. 'Did you come with your car today?' ask Top deck. 'No, we came with his' says Noah pointing in Njabulo's office. 'I give up, so Njabulo has to come to your place to fetch you every morning?' says Lunch Bar continuing to work. Njabulo come back holding his tablet. 'Have you guys seen this?' says Njabulo showing them the tablet. 'Wow the Zulus are always in scandals' says Top deck. 'He cheated? Journalists are too much now what does that have to do with his business?' ask Lunch Bar. 'Investors are married, people are going to criticise them and their marriages if they continue to support them' says Njabulo. 'Look at here, people are tagging companies they know are working with Blank Ink to stop working with them' says Noah. 'So far two companies have issued statements saying they are taking their business somewhere else, and those are the ones that have something to do with women empowerment while others have said nothing' says Njabulo. 'I am staring to think we are not the only ones who want to destroy Blank Ink' says Top deck. 'Me too, because what is this? first it was the design scandal now this' says Noah. 'I wonder who is it' says Lunch Bar. 

At Blank Ink Zandile is talking with Percy in his office. 'Mah just called Nothando left the house with her bags are you not going to talk to her?' ask Zandile. 'No, I think this is for the best' says Percy. 'What do you mean? are you not going to explain yourself to her?' ask Zandile. 'No, I am tired of this marriage let her go' says Percy. 'How are you going to fix this? two investors already left us how are you going to bring them back if you do not fix things with Nothando?' ask Zandile. 'I will find a way' says Percy. 'I hope you know what you are doing, we will not lose money because of your stupidity, and this girl who leaked this have you talked to her?' ask Zandile. 'I tried calling but it looks like she has blocked me, and she has checked out of the hotel she was staying in' says Percy. 'Percy fix this' says Zandile after she leave. 

Andile and Tshego are done searching every room in the house, they are in a dining room. 'It does not look like a guy like Njabulo stay here' says Andile. 'You are right, this house has things that looks like belong to an old person' says Tshego. 'Maybe we are in the wrong house' says Andile. 'Yes, let's go' says Tshego. Just as they are about to go out the door open and an old lady gets inside, when she sees them, she gets so scared that she starts to experience pain in her chest, she holds her chest and start breathing heavily, she starts to experience shortness of breath. 'What is wrong with her?' ask Tshego. 'I don't know let's go' says Andile. 'We are leaving her like this?' ask Tshego. 'Yes, what do you want to do? this is our chance to leave' says Andile leaving, Tshego follow him.
