S U M M E R Y

Rose has always been on the shy side and one to keep things to herself, but as she tries her best to be herself in her new life, she's determined to do things right this time.

So when she moves to a new university in the middle of the semester it seemed like a challenge but dream come true; she wanted new friends and what she really needs is a fresh start.

However all of that might change when she collides with Mackenzie Love. The one guy who seemed to see through her like glass. But his perfection isn't squeaky clean either. He's a renegade, so Rose hears on campus—yet no matter what—he's always there when she needs him.

And maybe this time, he's the only person who can save her from the dark and the dangerous monsters in it— the demon who's she's tried so hard to forget; her terrible ex best friend who's determined to push himself into her new life.

Even if it means destroying her new one.

That's if Mackenzie has anything to do with it.

1] My characters are from the North of England, UK. So, they will speak with a northern twang/accent. To everyone in my home land, hello fellow northerners.

2] Rose has a disability. I don't want to go into too much detail here because it will ruin the plot, but Rose is disabled, so I only ask for you dear reader, to be kind to her. She's a precious character and I hope you will come to adore her as much as I do. And I wanted to write something different where all people of walks of life are represented. <3

3] So, there's no confusion, Rose's love interest is a boy with unisex name Mackenzie. Mack for short.

4] This story deals with being on the bread line (poor), and will have topics such as characters using food banks, having a lack of income, topics such as metal abuse and deals with some pretty taboo topics. Again, please don't judge my characters life / or decisions they make — they are flawed and will make mistakes. They human .

However, I do not condone their actions in certain chapters. If for whatever reason you feel triggered any time while reading, please exit the story — because your mental health is the most important.
