"If you don't get away from me right now I'm going to snap each and every one of your limbs, Santiago." Kimberly warned.
"Just get up." Savannah whined and pulled Kimberly's foot.
Kim threw her arms over her head and yelled, "My thighs hurt! I'm not getting up from the couch!"
"We've got to keep doing it or we'll lose our figures!" Savannah yelled back.
"You boil my blood." Kimberly grumbled and stood to her feet. She and Savannah had been working out together for the last four years. Once everything had gotten settled on the island the two had a lot of free time on their hands and made it a daily thing. Of course, there was still work to be done, but a lot of Kim's work could be done from the island and she'd really rather not be going back and forth to the mainland every day.
The two women made their way out of the Mitchell home and over to the island gym. That was another thing deemed to be a necessity. Cole and Elijah insisted their men needed somewhere to work out, so a gym almost the size of a small office was built.
Speaking of offices though, the island had its own. It stood at half the height of the mainland building, but it was easily The Mitchell's preferred place to work. The Mitchells of course couldn't sell the mainland office when most of their legal workers were still employed there, and of course, completely going off the map would have looked suspicious to Lorenzo. Not that they needed to worry about him anymore.
"Go through, I'll grab water quickly," Kim didn't wait for Savannah's reply. She headed for the large fridge that sat right at the entrance to the building.
She grabbed what she needed, but before she could join her best friend, she bumped into her husband's blonde boyfriend. "Cole."
"Have you seen my wife?" His eyes were furrowed like he had been searching for her everywhere.
Yes, wife. Cole Ramsey was now happily married. To a woman. I know, who would ever believe it?
"She's over there on the treadmill probably." Kimberly shrugged. And yes, that wife was Savannah.
Savannah.
Can you hear the party poppers? It was a long time coming, and really, I'd love to tell you, but that really should be down to Cole. But long story short, you saw it, you could tell there was something going on, and they've been married for... three years today, actually.
"You're a gem." He smiled and went off to find the brunette.
Kimberly thought to give the two some space, so she waited around by the front desk for a while, that was before she saw her son on the monitors, he was in the boxing ring sparring with Elijah. Kimberly picked up her feet and ascended the stairs to reach the two men.
"You're doing well, boy." Elijah praised.
"Afternoon." Kimberly chimed.
Jenkin's gaze turned to his mother and he smiled. "Hi, Mum."
"Hey, gorgeous. Take a break, Jay." Elijah instructed before getting out of the ring.
"Training?"
Elijah nodded.
"Did Pa make you?" Kimberly turned her head to look at her son with raised eyebrows. "You were training just yesterday."
"Nope, just wanted to make sure I'm putting in all the effort I can, that's all." Jenkin shook his head and wiped some of the sweat on his forehead with a white towel.
"That's good of you." Kimberly smiled and stood on her tip-toes to kiss her son's temple before taking a seat on the bench. He had his father's height, and it infuriated Kim, she had secretly hoped he'd be closer to her height than Robert's.
