"Today was amazing." Arabella was cuddled into Ethan's side. They were back at her place after hours spent together on the mainland. Her parents left for the mainland only an hour after Arabella and Ethan arrived there, but while the younger two were there for fun, her parents were there for work. Kimberly gave Arabella a text as they were on their way over, warning her to stay away from the shopping district over by the office. The two never risked being in such close proximity to Arabella's Father's territory, but she was eternally grateful that her Mother had her back.

The two laid in Arabella's bed, Ethan's shirt tossed aside somewhere, and Ari already in her pyjamas. The television broadcasted some reality TV show which Ethan was likely enjoying more than Arabella. It was nice. "It really was." He yawned.

"Thank you." She snuggled in closer, resting her head on his chest. "It sucks you have training all day tomorrow."

"And the day after. So do Jenkin and Jackson. Whatever will you do with yourself?" Ethan teased.

"And next month you're helping Cole with the new house. There'll be no time for sneaking around." Although Zoe wasn't planning on moving back to The Netherlands anytime soon, Cole and Savannah wanted to be ready, so they had picked out a house for Zoe to move in to whenever she was ready, and soon enough they too would move there.

"If you're lucky I could sneak in here somehow... or we could just tell Jenkin and your Dad."

Arabella sighed. "I want to, I do. I just... You're older than me."

Ethan waited for her to continue, but she didn't. "I'm plenty aware of that."

She looked to him with eyes wide, like he should already know what she wanted to say. "It's just another reason for my Papa to be mad at you."

Squeezing her shoulder tight, he tried to make her worries disappear. "I will face your Father's wrath no matter who I am, how old I am, employed or unemployed. But luckily for all of us - your Father included - I am not only employed, but by him, and he has watched me grow from a baby so he more than knows who I am. The downside we do have is of course that I am older than you, but in return he knows me more than he'd ever know any other man that piqued your interest."

"And none of that works to please Jenkin."

"No... if anything I'm sure it'll be quite the opposite."

Arabella shook her head and jumped to her feet. "I wanna get off the topic. Do you want a snack?"

Arabella nodded and got to her feet. "I'm going to go get a snack. Do you want anything?"

Stil laying with his hands behind his head, Ethan raised a brow. "So I suppose it's a no to telling them still?"

"Correct. Now, a snack?"

"You."

She winked before slipping out the door, successfully hiding the blush on her cheeks. She headed down to the kitchen, turning the lights on as she went. Due to her opting out of the company, she was often home alone. Jenkin was of course learning and getting ready to take over, and for now, her parents still ran the show so they were often away too. But she didn't mind, she had Ethan to keep her company. Even if he was taking up all the bed space.

She grabbed a tray from the small cupboard beside the fridge and placed it on the counter. She cut up some fruit for Ethan, knowing he'd want a snack even if he didn't say so, but also knowing well enough that Elijah would have plenty to say if his younger Brother ate through a whole bag of chocolates the night before his intensive training course - she had heard it was some boot-camp type shit. Arabella had considered tossing her name onto the list just to get to spend extra time with her boyfriend, but when her Mother listed off all of the activities she got tired just thinking about it. Supposedly it was the same course Elijah would put Ari's parent's, uncles and aunt on to every year when they were her Brother's age.
