Kids!!!? At his age?
He looks like a kid himself!
Nicholas thought. But he quickly noticed Chan's legs trembling, indicating he was not in a good state.
He needs to sit down, Nicholas thought, glancing around. He carefully helped Chan move over to a small space by the sink, his arm securely around Chan's waist, guiding him with gentle precision. With a fluid motion, Nicholas lifted Chan up and set him down gently onto the counter. The counter was high, and Chan's legs dangled over the edge like a child's. It was an incredibly fancy bathroom with all the decorations. Instinctively leaning forward, Chan rested his head on Nicholas's chest, clearly exhausted. "Hnn..." he let out a faint groan. "Guess your tummy doesn't feel well, huh? Does it hurt?" Nicholas asked, but Chan didn't respond. Instead, Nicholas reached for a glass and filled it with cool water, and brought it to Chan's lips, tilting it gently. "Rinse your mouth," he instructed, and Chan complied.
"You dizzy?" Nicholas asked.
"A bit," Chan finally answered. Nicholas pulled a handkerchief from his pocket, dampened it, and gently wiped Chan's face. Chan closed his eyes for a moment, trying to ease the discomfort. The coolness of the cloth seeming to soothe him.
He then turned his head slightly and glanced at Nicholas with a look of quiet confusion, as if trying to make sense of the gentle care he was receiving."Wait a bit, I'll get you some medi-" Nicholas's sentence was interrupted by a knock at the door.
"Bang Chan hyung, are you inside? It's time for our performance. We need to go backstage now" a voice called out.
As soon as he heard the voice, he jumped down from the counter, his feet hitting the floor with a soft thud. He quickly moved to rinse his hands. "Okay," he replied, his voice steady but rushed.
The door opened halfway, and a face with a baby-like charm peeked in. "Hurry, hyung" the person urged.
"Alright, Sungah" chan replied, stepping away as if nothing had happened. Just before leaving, he turned back to Nicholas, giving him a quick glance and muttering, "Thanks" while bowing his head slightly.
Nicholas watched him go, a small smile playing on his lips.
Chan, right... that's a cute name, he thought.

Nicholas's pov-
I headed back to my table after exiting the bathroom. Moments later, Chan was on stage, and my eyes were fixed only on him. So they are Straykids.. It's amazing how he's performing like this even after how he was earlier, I thought. He's energetic, talented... but he's going to need this soon. I glanced down at the medicine I had slipped into my pocket. As their performance neared its end, I asked one of the staff members for directions and made my way backstage.
They came in with a flurry of noise. The boys entered one by one, visibly exhausted, some wiping sweat from their brows. From a distance, I noticed one of them supporting another, guiding him carefully.
Did his condition get worse?
I wondered. But as they got closer, I realized it was Chan-actually, he was the one helping someone else.
"Hold on a bit, Innie," he said softly, leading the boy to a nearby sofa and gently laying him down. He immediately turned his attention to the group, focusing on the others. "Take care of him," he instructed, though he didn't even sit down to rest himself. Instead, he started checking on the rest of the members, making sure they were okay.
He is really something else...
