JUDE
I mentally growned as my alarm beeped at me alarming me that it was time to get up and get myself ready for work. I went into my bathroom and got myself prepared by doing my oral care, skin care and my hair. I have to drop Ami back off before I go to work as she slept over last night, if I must say it as definitely the best night I've had in a long time.
I went back into my bedroom when I noticed that Ami was still asleep in my bed.
I got changed into my other pair of light blue scrubs and paired it with my white crocs. Ami started to wake up by now so I went over to her and lightly tapped her until she woke up. "Hey pretty girl wake up it's time to go." "Okay okay, give me some time to change."
She got ready in the bathroom and quickly came out. "Okay I'm ready so should we go?" "Yeah let's go so I'm not late."
We headed out into my white Mercedes and we drove in a comfortable silence. "It's weird seeing you in scrubs."
"Oh yeah, how so?"
"I don't know it's quite scary considering I hate going there."
" Yeah your brother said that you're scared of the dentist."
"It's just not a pleasureable experience."
"What if I could change that Ami would you be up for it, plus you get to spend extra time with me?"
"Uh sure I guess." "How about if you come to the office with me today and see what I do in a day?"
"Sure I'd like that Jude."
We get to my office and park outside in my personal parking spot.
I open her door and help her out of my car by placing my hand on her waist and lock it after she gets out.
"Morning dr Samuel's" "Morning dr Kingston" I say good morning to my co-workers as me and Ami walk down the long corridor towards my office.
I set my things down on the side and walk over to prepare the things that I will need for my first patient.
AMI We walk into Jude's room and I sit down on the side next to the computer. I think that it's a good idea him letting me shadow him for today as it gives me and idea that it's not that scary and might help me get over my fear.
