𝐂𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧 𝐦𝐲 𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭

Chapter 2

AMI

"long time no see". "i can't believe it's really you Ami"- emotionally exclaimed Jude.

the exchange of seeing Jude made me feel had a wave of sadness and nostalgia wash over me all at once.

"so what are you here for ami?"
"oh just the usual a cleaning.", i spoke confidently even though it slowly eating me alive with nerves.

Jude walked behind the dental chair and started getting all the scary sharp instruments prepared (and that would be going inside my mouth!? like excuse me ? ), but i could hear the clanging of the metal and the slapping of the blue latex gloves on his skin that made some of the tears that had been sitting in my eyes for ages slip out. Jude didn't notice thankfully. violet, put a green bib on my chest so nothing could stain or mess up my expensive Dior jacket.

"okay open wide then Ami", said Jude in a warm tone towards me as he could sense that i was nervous about the check up. "Don't worry there's no need to be nervous", he said comfortingly.

i opened my mouth for Jude but it wasn't wide enough for him to see so he had to push down on my chin to make it wider to see. He picked up a mirror and a pointy tool to look at my teeth. The noise that the instruments made along my teeth made me cringe and feel uneasy about it.

JUDE

It felt really weird to be seeing Ami after all these years without her. she just left to go to beauty school without saying anything to us. i felt heartbroken for months and years without seeing her. i'm so glad i finally have her back and im not letting her go again.

i finished her check up super quickly as i could sense that she was super tensed about it and made sure to comfort her the best that i could. i'm usually really good about comforting my patients to make sure that they are comfortable about the appointment and not scared but Ami has allways been scared about the Dentist, ever since her parents were dentists too, they inspired me to become one. But anyway back to Ami, she would allways kick up a fuss about going and would get really stressed to the point where she had to be held down by 4 people once. crazy right?? im determined to make sure that she's not scared to go about the dentist again and im willing to try to change it.

Jude finished my checkup quickly because he realised that i was starting to panic as my breathing was getting faster and faster. thankfully he did.

Before i knew it there was my older brother Brady walking into the room.

"BRADY?!?!"
