Chapter 8

AMI

"I thought you didn't want a baby."
"Nono baby, I've allways wanted a baby."
"Oh."
"I'm glad you want this baby to Jude, I love you so much, you're the best boyfriend ever I love you."

"I love you so much Ami more than you realise, I also can't wait to be parents, I wouldn't want it with anyone but you."

Today was my gender reveal and I was so happy to finally be finding out the gender of my baby, I didn't mind what gender they were as long as they were a happy healthy baby.

"3,..2,..1.. POP, A BOY!!"
"ITS A BOYYY!!"
My family went wild when they found out it was a boy.

Jude pulled me by the waist towards him and gave me a kiss when he popped the balloon.
"I can't believe it Ami we're having a boy."
"I know Jude I'm so happy."
"I love you."
"I love you too."

We were all estatic for the rest of the day but I was happy that I could start shopping for boy baby clothes for him. We haven't thought of any names yet although I was thinking Jesse as Jude's name was also a j. But I won't tell him yet.

Another few months had passed so I was now 6 months through my pregnancy. I was starting to hate the way my body looked, I had stretch marks on my tummy where the baby was growing, my breasts had grown to the size of what felt like melons and my feet were swollen so I couldn't wear any of my normal shoes as they were too tight.

Jude makes me feel very happy when he talks about my bump, it makes me feel like I'm normal but he knows how I don't like my body and still makes me forget about how much i hate it. He doesn't care about my stretch marks or how my eyes are sunken in also. The nursery was coming together nicely it had a picture of Jude and me holding my bump with a poster saying 'it's a boy!'. It just needed the crib to be built as we haven't done that yet as I was leaving that to Jude as I'm no good with stuff like that. We had decided on beige walls with sage green ornaments and brought lots of teddy's for him. "I can't wait to finally meet you baby."

I was finally 9 months pregnant now and I was due any day from now but baby still didn't want to come out so it was all a waiting game. Jude had taken a few weeks off work to help me and make sure I didn't go into labour when he wasn't with me. How thoughtful, I thought Brady wouldn't have gave him a few weeks off but as it's me he decided to.

Just as I was walking into the bathroom to go pee a sudden rush of water flew out of me. It definitely wasn't pee so my first instinct was to call for Jude. "JUDE!"
"YES BABY WHATS WRONG?"
"I THINK IM IN LABOUR."
"OH GOD, HANG ON BABY."

I was in so much pain it felt like period cramps but obviously much worse. "Owwwww."
Jude where are you? I kinda need you now.

"Come on baby let's get you to the hospital."
"Did you get the bags?"
"Yes there in the car."
"Ah."
"Careful baby."

He helped me into the car and drove quickly to the hospital where they put me on a stretcher and took me to labour ward.

"Jude Jude it hurtss."
"I know, it will all be over soon."

Soon after a nice looking lady came into the room to try help the baby come out smoother.

"Hello I'm Lana I'll be helping you today, how are you?"

"In pain haha."
"Ah yes I'll just take a look down there."
"Oh er okay."

I felt her fingers plunge into me causing me to just stare at Jude. It felt very invasive.

"Yeah the baby's ready to come out."

"Okay ready to push?"

"Uh-huh."

"Pushh!"
I tried my best to do a full push but I had to give up as it was hurting to much.

"Ow ow ow."
"You did good then don't put too much pressure on yourself."

"Oh okay."

"Push again!"

I screamed as I was pushing when I heared the midwife shout, "he's crowning one more push and you'll be all good."

"Okay."

"PUSH!"

"AHHH."

I heared the baby's cry that's when I knew i did it.

"He's here baby you did it!", said Jude.

"Oh my."

"My son."

"Have you decided on a name for him yet?"the midwife said.

"Well I have but I don't know if Jude's going to like it."

"Go on honey say it."he smiled.

"Uh well I was thinking of Jesse?"

"I love that name."yay he looked at me and then back at the doctor.

"Yes Jesse it is."

"Okay I'll go sort a birth certificate out, and here is your baby."

Jude came round to me and sat next to me whilst I was holding the baby.

"He's so little."

"I know."
