Ella Toone's struggle

ACL pt2

It's been afew days since Ella's operation and less had taken a week off of training to help Ella while she adjusts. Ella is more stable with her crutches but is now becoming stubborn and not allowing herself to be helped if she thinks she can do it.

Alessia: Ella sit down, I'll get you some water

Ella: (standing up) no less, I can do it

Alessia: Ella, sit down. You need to use both crutches to move so you won't be able to carry it, just let me help you

Ella: no

Alessia: yes (gets behind Ella and lifts her up while being careful of her knee)

Ella: (trying to move) less, put me down

Alessia: ok (moves Ella back onto the far end of the sofa and makes Ella a glass of water)

Ella: oh come on that's not fair

Alessia: just relax, I'm gonna help you while I can, I go back on Monday

Ella: (shoots up) Monday ? That's in 2 days, what am I gonna do while your gone, I can barely mo-

Alessia: (hugs Ella tight and rubs her back) breathe, in and out Ella, your overthinking this, I'm going back on Monday and will be home by 3 o'clock, you won't be alone for long, I'm leaving at 9 so it's only 6 hours without me.

Ella: (gets out of the hug) but what if something happens while you're gone?

Alessia: nothing will happen ok, do you want me to bring some of the girls back after training to keep you company ?

Ella: if you want to, I don't mind

Alessia: how about tomorrow we invite some friends round for a movie night since there's no match this week

Ella: yeah ok, that sounds fun

(Skip to the next day and Ella has woken up to a bit of pain in her leg so she goes downstairs without waking less)

Ella: (going down the stairs but her crutches catch on a step) AHH less help

Alessia: (wakes up to a crash and hears Ella yell) Ella? (Doesn't see her in her bed so she runs downstairs to see Ella on the floor)

Ella: (sees less and holds her leg) less it hurts

Alessia: (goes down the stairs next to Ella) where does it hurt ?

Ella: my hip, I landed on it so I didn't hurt my knee more

Alessia: ok let's get you to the sofa then I'll grab you some ice

Ella: ok, thanks less (goes to stand up)

Alessia: what are you doing ?

Ella: standing up

Alessia: more like falling down (she says after Ellas multiple attempts to stand but failing)

Ella: can you help me up please

Alessia: yes (picks up Ella bridal style and puts her on the sofa)

Ella: thanks less

It is now Monday and Alessia is just leaving. Ella is on the sofa and saying goodbye to Alessia

Alessia: (leaving) remember to call me if anything happens

Ella: I will

Alessia: you'll be fine, I'll see you at 3 ok

Ella: ok, see you later
