Two years... Two very eventful years have passed since the arrival of Makoto Yuki into Iwatodai. As Yukari and Makoto stepped off the train at Tatsumi Port Island station they began walking to school. They held each other's hands the entire walk over. As the pair entered the school gates to Gekkoukan high everyone began to stare at them.

"It's the power couple." A few guys whispered to one another. They were very jealous of Makoto for getting with Yukari. Some of the girls also became jealous of Yukari for getting with Makoto. The two of them were some of the most popular students throughout the school.

"Good morning Takeba, Yuki." Everyone around had heard as they looked to see the person who was addressing the pair was none other than Mitsuru Kirijo. Some of the guys around gasped as they hadn't seen the previous student council president since she graduated last year. "I was meaning to speak with you two after your graduation speech today."

"Sure thing Kirijo-senpai" Yukari replied. Mitsuru nodded as she walked into the main building and towards the faculty office. Yukari continued to walk with Makoto while asking, "What do you think she wants to talk about with us?" Makoto simply shrugged his shoulders. He knew in his mind that everything that was destined to happen going forward was a mystery to him. He remembered every single time he tried to defy fate and change the future. In fact, until recently, he had known only one fate. Death, after trying to change the timeline dozens of times he'd finally found the one where he could live peacefully. Nearly one year ago Makoto died after fulfilling his promise to his friends. Fortunately for him, his friends shared his determination to defy fate as they risked life and limb to travel across the multiverse just to save his life.

"Makoto! Yuka-tan!" A voice nobody could ever forget came from behind them. Just before they could turn around they were nearly thrown to the floor as Junpei wrapped his arms around their shoulders. "Sup guys. How's it going?" He asked the annoyed couple. Yukari tried shoving him away but he wasn't going to give up easily.

"Do you have to interrupt everything Stupei?" Yukari was clearly annoyed and upset with Junpei for bothering her while she was with her boyfriend. Junpei finally got it through his dense head that they wanted to have time to themselves. Junpei always became antsy while at school cause he couldn't hang out with his own girlfriend Chidori. The reason was simple, Chidori didn't attend Gekkoukan at all. She never went to school to begin with. So while Junpei would spend his days at school Chidori would spend it drawing at Tatsumi Port Island station while she waited for Junpei to return.

"Just get to class Junpei, Yukari and I need to have a chat with Kirijo-senpai when class ends. And we would like some alone time until then" Makoto gently told him. Junpei nodded as he sighed and walked away. "There, now Junpei is gone and we have some free time before our last class of the year." Makoto and Yukari were both third years at Gekkoukan. All third years knew that they had entry exams to take in order to get into colleges. Mitsuru Kirijo who was the top student of the previous third years, was accepted into the University of Tokyo while Akihiko Sanada, another friend of theirs went into professional boxing. Over the course of the year he became one of the top boxers in Japan. He recently returned to Iwatodai for three months. It was his vacation. Yukari, with the help of Makoto, was able to score great on the entrance exams for colleges. Both Makoto and Yukari were accepted into the University of Tokyo in part to Mitsuru's influence with her being the top student of the college. It was a big surprise when they both found out. "To think we'll be going to the same college as Kirijo-senpai. Huh, Yukari?" Makoto asked Yukari.

"I would now like to introduce our current class president to the stage, Makoto Yuki!" The student body representative had just called up Makoto to the stage, he knew he had to give a speech for everyone to listen to. As he stepped up to the stage his mind raced across the entire year. Unlike the previous year, the current one was very uneventful. Makoto moved his face to the microphone as he spoke, "Thank you. As you all are aware this past year was full of school work. We made strives to make sure we have plenty of enjoyable events for everyone to participate in. The class trip to Yakushima was one filled with joy and memories. As I leave Gekkoukan and move on towards university I would like to give you all some advice. When you feel your worst, as if you can't continue moving forward. Just know this... You can always defy fate and change the future. Good luck Gekkoukan class of 2010!" Makoto then stepped off the stage and sat next to Yukari as the whole auditorium applauded Makoto.

"You're speech was simply marvelous Yuki. I'd say it rivals my own." Mitsuru said to Makoto as they met on the roof of the school after the ceremony. Yukari and Makoto were still confused why Mitsuru asked to meet her here. "I apologize, I should tell why I asked you up here. The Kirijo group has been making business dealing in Tokyo and I was hoping the two of you would be willing to help me while attending the college. The Kirijo group will be paying for any tuition prices for extended studying. I... Simply need the assistance." Yukari and Makoto looked to each other before looking at Mitsuru and nodding their heads. Mitsuru's face went form concern to relief. "Thank you. I've also sent the message to Akihiko and Aragaki that they well be moving into the Kirijo family mansion in Tokyo. Shiomi will be joining Aragaki, however she will be taking online classes as she did not get into the same college as us. Aragaki will not be going to college either as he does not see my points. Regardless he will be aiding in other ways. That is all. I would like to also ask for you two to pack your things as you will all be moving out of the dorm in the next week." Mitsuru then walked away leaving Makoto and Yukari to their own privacy.

Makoto opened his phone as he scrolled through the photos he stopped on one very emotional photo. Yukari noticed him getting tears in his eyes as she looked at the photo. She covered her mouth with her hand as they both looked at the photo of their friends taking their last photo before they went to fight Nyx.

Makoto's eyes couldn't hold back the tears anymore as he began to weep. Yukari held him close in her arms. She knew it was very rough for him because he died for a short time after the battle with Nyx. She knew far too well that it was a very emotional time for both of them. Makoto felt awful for leaving Yukari alone when he died. Yukari felt horrible weeks after his death. But here they were now, spending time on the roof of the school they just graduated from. Makoto slowly got to his feet and he and Yukari walked back to the dorm. It was very quiet and peaceful all the way back. Junpei had already caught up with Chidori and took the previous train back to the dorm. When Yukari and Makoto got back they found the whole gang relaxing in the lounge watching tv with Ken. Koromaru was the first to greet them as he trotted up with an adorable, "Arf!" Yukari knelt down with Makoto as they gave Koromaru all the pets he could ever ask for.

"So... You guys are gonna be joining us in Tokyo huh?" Shinjiro asked. Mitsuru told him that they will be attending the college while he took to the streets to uncover everything going on. This left Makoto and Yukari extremely confused. When they asked about it they both just said, "Don't worry about it right now. You two should be more worried about love. After all it's the cure to sadness." Shinjiro had never said anything corny like that before. Makoto figured Kotone was rubbing off a bit too much on him. He even started to wear his coat less and less as time went on. It was something that scared Akihiko more than anyone else. As Makoto and Yukari went to their room the sat down on the bed and chatted the whole night away before going to sleep for the night. They had a very busy day ahead of them.
