I honked my horn to let Katrina know I was outside. I was picking her up for dinner tonight. We decided to go a little earlier since we had to work tonight. This girl is never on time. I shook my head with a grin. I pulled out my phone to check my messages.

I looked and saw her front open and her rushing out with her bag. She closed the door and ran to the car. I put my phone in the cup holder. She opened the passenger door and handed me her bag. I put it in the back and she reached out her hand and I sighed. I took her hand and she stepped on the side railing and got in. She was wearing a sexy leather outfit. (In media.)

"Short ass can't never be punctual." I shook my head. "Yo' big ass always punctual. Be late like a nigga sometimes." She chuckled. I drove off, shaking my head, laughing slightly.

She connected her phone to my truck and started playing a bunch of old music. I stopped and looked at her "Girl what da' hell you know 'bout this?" I grinned. "Excuse me? What don't I know 'bout dis'." She said sassily with a smile. "You may be older than I am but I'm an old head baby." She said. "Whatever, I'an dat' old, woman." I replied, driving as the light turned green.

"Well, I wouldn't know 'cause you ain't told me." She said giving me a look. I glanced at her. Silence took over the car ride. I sighed, "I'm 42." I told her. "Damn!" I glared at her. "I'm sorry." She put her hand over her mouth. I busted out laughing and she did as well. "I'm 28." She said when our laughter subsided.

I slowly nodded, "18 year difference." I stated. "Oh you're good at math too." She chuckled. I let out a breathy laugh. "I do a lotta countin'." She scoffed. "I bet." She laughed shaking her head.

I pulled up to this black owned restaurant I was taking her to. She tried to open her door and I reached over stopping her. I got out and walked around to her side. I opened her door, grabbed her hand helping her climb down. I closed the door when she stepped on the curb. The valet went and parked my truck as she took in her surroundings looking mesmerized.

I loosened my grip on her hand, turning to walk in the restaurant, but she didn't let go. I looked back at her. She blushed and gestured for me to lead the way. I shook my head with a grin, tightening my grip on her hand and walking into the restaurant.

We got seated at a table, I helped her sit down and push her chair in before taking my own seat.

"This place is real nice." She absorbed the scene around her. "Ain't been to a place like dis' befo'?" I asked curiously, leaning closer onto the table. "Honestly no." She shook her head, avoiding eye contact. I reached over and slowly pulled her attention back to me. "You been anywhere outside Chucalissa?" I questioned putting my hand down after regaining her attention. She pursed her lips and shook her head, "Not really. Maybe a few times but nun' like dis'?" She replied.
