Sam woke up to the steady beeping of a heart machine. He looked around and groaned before realizing what had happened. He ripped out the IV and proceeded to stand up, but ended up falling back down. A nurse and two orderlies came charging in.

"Mr. Swarek, please lie back down, you aren't strong enough. You had a vasovagal episode due to the situation".

Sam laid back and took in the information in.

"What's going on with Andy" Sam choked out. "Is she-did she,.."

"Ms.McNally's surgery went well, however, due to the extend of her injuries, we had to put her in a medical induced coma".

The nurse continued to talk, but Sam drifted off thinking about Andy in a coma. All the things he had not told her yet. The things that were left unsaid.

And the bruises.
The bruises.
Sam couldn't see them all, but he knew they were bad. New ones on old.
Sam didn't want to register the idea of his Andy taking her own life, but clearly the doctors and the nurses did. She was strapped down to the bed in order for her not to hurt herself.
" You've got to be kidding me. She's in A COMA. SHES NOT GOING TO HURT HERSELF IF SHES NOT EVEN CONSCIOUS", Sam yelled.
Silence.
Of course there was silence, what did he expect, Andy was down for the count and he, well he was a sad shmuck who can't keep it together.
He collapsed in the chair right next to her bed and placed his hand in hers. And Sam did something he hadn't done in a while.
He cried
