matt and his two brothers, nick and chris, weave through the bustling airport, each step a chaotic blend of bickering and banter. matt lugs two heavy suitcases and a bulging backpack, while nick strides ahead, only carrying a small duffel bag. chris trails behind, his eyes darting around like he's never seen an airport before, nearly tripping over his own feet every few steps.
nick glances back at matt, who's lagging behind. "come on, matt, you walk slower than the lifeless corpse of my dead hamster."
matt rolls his eyes. "maybe if i wasn't carrying half of our fucking house, i'd be faster."
nick also rolls his eyes, while pulling out his chapstick. "oh, i'm sorry. i didn't realize you needed a parade in your honor for carrying a few bags. should i alert the media?"
chris, who's just barely avoided walking into a display of overpriced neck pillows, laughs. "yeah, matt, you're practically a hero. someone get this kid a medal!"
matt shakes his head, but he can't help grinning. "you guys are fucking dumb. also chris, you could carry something too, you have hands you know?"
chris just grins sheepishly, rubbing his shin where he just bumped into a suitcase. "i'm providing comic relief, so shut the fuck up."
nick snickers, "true. and if you keep tripping over everything, we might just get upgraded to first class out of pity."
matt finally catches up to nick, adjusting the strap of his backpack, "seriously though, why am i carrying most of the stuff?"
"maybe because you're the responsible brother? or because chris would probably lose half of it before we even get to security?" nick raises an eyebrow as he looks at his brother.
