elliana rolls her eyes as she stares at the screen. she knows jaden doesn't actually want to go with her or thinks it'd be 'cool'. it's not about her, or even about having fun. it's about publicity.
but god, can he at least try and make her think he's actually inviting her for her or is she not even worth that?
she sprawls out on her bed, her phone face-up beside her, and stares at the celling like it has personally betrayed her. she groans, flopping her pillow over her face like she's trying to block out the world. "great for my image. this bitch sounds like an ad campaign!"
daisy lays on the floor surrounded by a mountain of snack wrappers and vogue magazines, and barely looks up from her phone, "what's up?"
"jaden," elliana says, taking her phone again and throwing it onto the floor with the kind of force you use when you're trying to make a statement. "he wants to take me to the party this weekend cause it'd be 'good for my image'. as if my image needs him."
