INT. PRINCETON PLAINSBORO TEACHING HOSPITAL - DIAGNOSTIC OFFICE - LATE AFTERNOON

The office is calm, with only the soft hum of computers and the occasional murmur of conversation. House and his team are still working on the case, though their energy has waned slightly. Carl, having finished his research task, sits with Cameron at her desk, flipping through a magazine.

Carl
(Casually)
Hey, Cameron, can we talk for a sec?

Cameron
(Looking up from her paperwork)
Sure, Carl. What's up?

Carl
(Hesitating slightly)
I've been thinking... It's been a while since I've seen my real family. Fiona, Lip, Ian, Debbie, and Liam. I was wondering if we could go visit them. I'd like to see them and catch up.

Cameron
(Surprised)
Oh, Carl... I didn't realize you were feeling that way. It's been a tough time for you, and I understand you might want to reconnect with them.

Carl
(Nodding)
Yeah, I know. Things have been... weird. I just thought it might be good for me to see them, and maybe it'd help me figure out what I want to do next.

Cameron
(Thoughtfully)
You're right. It could be good for you to reconnect. But you know, visiting them means we'd need to make some arrangements. We'd have to plan it carefully.

Carl
(Earnestly)
I understand. I'm willing to work with whatever you think is best. Just... I miss them, and I think it'd be good for me to be with them for a bit.

Cameron
(Sighing)
Alright. I'll see what I can arrange. We'll need to make sure everything's in order before we go. It's important to make sure it's a positive experience for you and for them.

Carl
(Smiling)
Thanks, Cameron. I really appreciate it.

Cameron nods and starts making a few notes on her notepad. House, who has been listening from his desk with a bemused expression, raises an eyebrow.

House
(Casually)
Planning a family reunion, Cameron? Hope you're ready for a dose of Gallagher chaos.

Cameron
(Glancing over)
It's not exactly a vacation, House. But Carl's right; reconnecting with family can be important. And given the circumstances, it might be a good thing for him.

House
(Smirking)
Just remember, if things get too chaotic, you might need a strong drink. Or two.

Carl
(Smiling)
I don't think it'll be that bad. They're family. We just have a complicated way of showing it sometimes.

Cameron
(Putting her notepad aside)
Alright, let's get this sorted. We'll need to arrange transportation, and I'll reach out to your siblings to make sure they're okay with a visit.

Carl
(Grateful)
Thanks, Cameron. I really mean it.

As Cameron starts making the necessary arrangements, House watches with a rare look of approval. He turns back to his desk, shaking his head slightly but with a small smile.
