INT. HOSPITAL WAITING ROOM - NIGHT

The waiting room is quiet except for the occasional shuffling of footsteps and hushed conversations. Lip, Ian, Debbie, Carl, and Cameron are seated together, their faces etched with concern. The tension in the room is palpable as they wait for updates on Liam's condition.

Lip
(Rubbing his eyes)
It's taking forever. They've been in there for hours.

Ian
(Worriedly)
I just hope he's okay. I can't believe this happened.

Debbie
(Tearfully)
How could he get his hands on that stuff? We were just trying to have a good time.

Cameron
(Supportively)
It's not your fault. We need to focus on Liam right now.

Carl
(Frustrated and anxious)
I should've known better. I should've kept a closer eye on him.

Lip
(Placing a hand on Carl's shoulder)
It's not just on you. Things can get out of control so quickly. We all need to stick together right now.

Debbie
(Looking at Cameron)
Thank you for being here, Cameron. I know it must be hard for you too.

Cameron
(Softly)
Of course. I care about Liam, and I want to be here for all of you.

The group falls silent as they continue to wait, each lost in their own thoughts and worries. The room feels heavy with anticipation.

INT. HOSPITAL WAITING ROOM - LATER

The ER doors finally swing open, and the doctor who treated Liam walks in. The family members stand up, their eyes locked on him.

Doctor
(Approaching)
Liam is stable now. He's awake and responsive, but he's going to need some time to recover. We've treated the cocaine overdose, and he should make a full recovery, but he'll be under observation for a while longer.

Lip
(Relieved)
Thank God. Can we see him?

Doctor
(Nodding)
Yes, you can visit him briefly, but try to keep it calm. He's still recovering and needs rest.

Ian
(Grateful)
Thank you. We really appreciate it.

Doctor
(Smiling slightly)
No problem. He's in Room 204. I'll let the nurse know you're on your way.

The family starts to make their way to Liam's room, their spirits lifting slightly at the news of his recovery. They navigate the hospital corridors with a renewed sense of hope.

INT. HOSPITAL ROOM 204 - NIGHT

Liam is lying in a hospital bed, looking tired but conscious. His eyes light up when he sees his family enter the room.

Liam
(Weakly)
Hey, guys.

Fiona
(Tearfully)
Liam! You scared us half to death.

Liam
(Weakly)
Sorry. I didn't mean to.

Carl
(Sitting next to the bed)
Just rest. We're all here for you.

Debbie
(Softly)
We were so worried. You need to be more careful.

Ian
(Encouragingly)
We're just glad you're okay.

Cameron
(Kindly)
You're going to be fine, Liam. Just take it easy and follow the doctor's advice.

Liam
(Nodding)
Yeah, I will. Thanks, everyone.

The family surrounds Liam, offering words of comfort and support. Despite the challenges they've faced, their unity and care for each other are evident.

Fiona
(Tearfully)
We're going to get through this. We just need to stick together.

Liam
(Smiling weakly)
Yeah, together.

The room feels warmer with the presence of Liam's family around him. The earlier tension and fear give way to a shared sense of relief and determination to face the future as a united front.
