The next 3 hours flew by. We were dancing, doing karaoke, and talking the night away. It looks like Poppy enjoyed her day. I"m really glad that I didn't mess today up. Not yet at least. I still have 1 more gift for her later and I'm kind of nervous.
When everyone left, it was just me, Poppy, Viva, and my brothers.
"Well, I guess it's time to clean up." I said.
"Don't worry, Branch. We'll clean it up. Right guys?" Viva asked the group.
"Yeah, go have fun, Broppy!" JD responded.
"What's Broppy?" Me and Poppy both asked, very confused.
"You know, your couple name." Clay told us.
"Who came with this?"
"From what I've heard, your friends did back when you guys were just friends." Clay explained.
"Sounds like our friends. Well, we'll see you guys tomorrow." Then me and Poppy left and started walking.
"Branch?" Poppy said
"Yes, my Queen?
Poppy chuckled. It's that little sound that I love about her.
"I just wanna say thank you for today. You really know how to make a girl feel special and I love you for that."
"I love you too." I kissed her forehead. "But tonight isn't over yet. I have 1 surprise for you."
"Alright, what is it?"
"First, I wanna go back to where you found me. That meadow."
"Sure, let's go."
We started to go back to the meadow. It took us 15 minutes to get there. When we got there, the view of the full moon was beautiful. It was such a nice night. Plus the stars were shining bright.
"It's a pretty lovely night." Poppy said as we sat on the ground, enjoying the view.
"Yeah, but not as pretty as you."
"Oh Branch." Poppy was blushing. "Do I get to see your surprise now?"
"I'll show you before we leave. Promise."
The next 30 minutes, we did some stargazing, we talked a little about future ( mostly about moving in together), and just relaxed. I could see Poppy starting to get tired and I know that she has work tomorrow. So, it's time to show her. "Poppy, are you ready for your surprise?"
"YES! I'M SO EXCITED TO SEE WHAT IT IS!" Poppy's burst of energy scarred me a little since a moment ago she looked so tired. "So what is it?"
"I wrote you a song. I hope you like it." I fidgeted with my fingers.
"Branch, I'll love any gift from you. No matter what." Poppy reassured me.
"Ok." I took a deep breath and started singing.

Poppy then, after a few moments of silents, holding each others hands, said, "That was the best gift I got today. Thank you Branch!" Poppy then grabbed my vest and kissed me. I happily returned it. We parted lips after a few minutes and started walking home.
"Branch, can you carry me back? Poppy begged after walking for only 2 minutes.
"Anything for my girl." I smiled and carry the queen the rest of the way home.
