September (Broppy Day Oneshot)

HAPPY BROPPY DAY! HOPE YOU ENJOY! BTW THIS TAKES PLACE 2 MONTHS BEFORE MY ONESHOT, HOLIDAYS

Poppy is in the center of town, planning a fall harvest festival with a dance in the evening. It's one of the biggest events of the year, and the first time, Poppy gets to experience it all her loved ones.

"Ok. Everyone!" Poppy shouted into her microphone. "The apple cider shop goes here. The dunk tank goes there and the bobbing for apples is next to the cotton candy station."

"Hey, Poppy!" Viva, Branch and Clay came to see the progress. "How's it going?"

"Great. Everything will be finished by tonight and ready tomorrow at noon." Poppy said.

"I'm so excited for this! It's my first time in forever." Viva said

"Same here." Clay added.

"I've actually never been." Branch admitted.

Poppy;s jaw dropped. "W-What do mean you've never been before?"

"I haven't. I was too little before and obviously didn't go during my grey years."

"What about last year? Or the year before?"

"The year before, we skipped together. And last year, I had pink eye."

"Well this year, you'll be there and you'll have most fun time of your life!"

"Yeah:" the group all high fived, Then, Branch, out of nowhere starts coughing. A lot. Pretty much a coughing fit.

All three trolls stared at him as he finished.

"I'm good. Just something in my throat." Branch said. "Don't worry about me.

"If you say so. Let's go, Viva." Clay and Vive left. "Bye guys!"

"Branch, are ok? That didn't sound good."

"I'm good. I'm good. Don't worry about me." Branch tried to convince Poppy.

"Achoo!" Branch sneezed.

"Bless you, Branch" Poppy said.

"Achoo! Achoo! Achoo!" Branch once again coughed.

"Branch, are you sure you're ok? You've been like this for the past couple of days."

"Oh, yeah. I....I'm...Achoo!"

"Branch?" Poppy gave him a look.

"Fine. I have a cold. I said it."

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"I knew how excited you were for this year's festival and how much you wanted me to come with you and didn't wanna make you disappointed. I hate to see you like that."

"Aww Branch. But didn't a certain someone tell me when your sick, don't try and hide it? You remember what happened last time, right?"

"Yes, I remember. How could I forget? It was the most traumatic days of my life."

"Let's take you home, so you don't get anyone else sick."

"So what's the update on Branch?" Brozone asked.

"He has a minor fever. He's currently sleeping and on medication from the doctor."

"What's his symptoms?"

"Just a cough and sneezing. And also a small headache."

"So is there a chance Branch can come with us tomorrow?"
