Sick Day🤒

(Carinas POV)
I woke up and it felt like I had been awake for a week, my entire body was sore, my head was pounding and I was so nauseous. I needed Maya, when I'm sick she takes care of me. As I was thinking about my wife I suddenly had to throw up so I ran to the bathroom as fast as I could.
I had been awake for about an hour when I started crying, I really needed Maya but I didn't want to bother her. I decided to call her anyway, just to see when she was gonna be home.

(Mayas POV)
I was at the station just sitting at my desk when I got a call from Carina and obviously I answered as I know that she struggles with anxiety and I wanted to be cautious because I was working a 24, and she gets really anxious when shes by herself for too long.
"Hey baby, whats up" I said once i answered, but instead of getting a response I just heard sniffles.
"Carina... are you okay? Is it your anxiety?" I asked because I needed to know how to help her.
After a while I got a quiet "No..." from my wife followed by a "Please come home, I-I don't feel good, I'm sorry to bother you b-but i really need you". That was all it took for me to run out of my office, tell Andy to cover for me and race home to my wife.

(Carinas POV)
I was sitting in the living room when I felt the need to throw up again, so I ran to the bathroom and I guess while I was throwing up, Maya got home and she came to the bathroom and held my hair back for me.

(Mayas POV)
After she was done throwing up, I got her some water and a little bit of food amd we just sat on the couch and watched a movie. About 30 minutes into the movie, Carina had fallen asleep so I picked her up and she instinctivley wrapped her legs around my waist. I put her down and tucked her in and she started to stir "Shhh my love its okay I've got you" I said ans I went to change into my pyjamas. When I got into bed, Carina snuggled up to me and I whispered an I love you into her ear.
"Ti amo Bambina" she replied just before we both fell asleep wrapped in eachothers arms.
