js wanna start this off by saying that im so sorry for the long wait!! i was in the hospital for a few days but we're all good so yeah but theres gonna be this chapter and maybe another one later!!

(Mayas POV)
Carinas whole life shes struggled with anxiety and sometimes it can be really debilitating. I feel so bad for her because there's nothing I can do except comfort her in the moment.

(Carinas POV)
Maya left for the station a few hours ago, and I just got off a 24 so I'm sitting on the couch. Something you should know about me is that I'm a really paranoid person and I get scared very easily by literally anything.
As i was sitting on my couch I got a call from an unknown number and because I was curious, I answered.
"Hello?" I said before they hung up. I started to get a bit weirded out but I didn't think much of it until they called again, but this time I was met with "Hello Carina...I know where you live".
I swear I don't think I've ever pressed the block button that fast, but my hands were trembling and my breathing was getting heavy and before i knew it I was in a corner of my living room, sobbing, shaking and rocking back and forth and I couldn't seem to calm myself down.

(Mayas POV)
I've called Carina at least 10 times at this point and I haven't gotten an answer so I'm starting to get worried.
"Hey, Andy!!" I called to get her attention, "Whats up Mai" I needed her to cover for me because I needed to go and see what was up with Carina because she always calls me back, I explained the situation and she urged me to go home, so I did. As i was opening the door I was met with sobs and I immediately knew what was going on.
"Oh baby..." I said before rushing over to help.

(Carinas POV)
I had my knees up to my chest, still rocking when Maya got home.
I didn't notice that she was home until she was sitting directly in front of me holding my hands and trying to calm me down.
"M-m-maya help..." I managed to get out between sobs, "Shhh baby im here its okay" she replied. After about 30 minutes I calmed down and I was exhausted to say the least.

(Maya POV)
After i calmed her down I helped her to the couch where she layed directly on top of me.
"Do you wanna talk about it baby?" I ask softly so I'm not too loud as I'm right next to her ear, she just shook her head no, but I didn't wanna push it so I just let it be. "You're okay now baby I've got you I promise" I said.
"I'm okay now that you're here" she practically whispered, and about 15 minutes later due to my drawing patterns on her back and stroking her hair, she was asleep. I picked her up and she started to stir "Shh baby it's okay I've got you" I said as I made my way to our shared bedroom to put Carina in bed.
Once she was settled I went and changed into some sweats and layed down beside her and she cuddled up close to me and that was how our day ended.

also i just wanted to say im sorry again for the ridiculously long wait i havent had much motivation and ive had a lot going on but im back !!
