Siddarth and Emily found a cozy compartment towards the middle of the Hogwarts Express. They were buzzing with excitement, their heads filled with dreams and questions about what awaited them at Hogwarts.

"Do you think Hogwarts will be as amazing as everyone says?" Emily asked, her eyes sparkling with anticipation.

Siddarth nodded, his deep blue eyes reflecting the same excitement. "I think it will be even better. Imagine all the magic we'll learn, the friends we'll make, and the adventures we'll have."

Emily grinned, leaning back in her seat. "I can't wait to see the Great Hall and the Sorting Hat. I wonder which house we'll be in."

Siddarth shrugged, smiling. "As long as we're together, I don't mind which house we're sorted into. We'll have each other's backs, just like always."

Meanwhile, in another compartment, Harry and Nyla Potter were seated with Ron Weasley, their new friend. The trio was deep in conversation about their younger siblings.

"Rose and Ginny are going to miss us," Ron said, munching on a Chocolate Frog. "Mum's already worrying about Ginny wanting to go to Hogwarts next year."

Harry nodded, taking a bite of his own Chocolate Frog. "Yeah, Rose was a bit upset this morning. But she'll be alright. We've got a whole year to make Hogwarts feel like home before they join us."

Nyla smiled, her eyes twinkling. "I told Rose we'd write to her every week and send her all the details about our adventures. She seemed to like that idea."

As they chatted, the compartment door slid open, and a girl with bushy brown hair and an air of confidence stepped in. "Has anyone seen a toad? A boy named Neville's lost one."

Harry, Nyla, and Ron shook their heads. "No, sorry," Ron said.

"I'm Hermione Granger, by the way," the girl said, introducing herself. "And you are?"

"I'm Ron Weasley," Ron replied, swallowing his chocolate.

Harry extended his hand. "Harry Potter."

"And I'm Nyla Potter," she added with a smile.

Hermione's eyes widened slightly as she took in their names. "You're Harry Potter and Nyla Potter? I've read about you both. You're in 'Modern Magical History,' and 'The Rise and Fall of the Dark Arts,' and 'Great Wizarding Events of the Twentieth Century.'"

Harry and Nyla exchanged glances, feeling a bit embarrassed by the attention. "Uh, yeah, that's us," Harry said.

"Well, it's very nice to meet you," Hermione said briskly. "Do either of you know what house you'll be in? I hope I'm in Gryffindor; it sounds by far the best."

Ron scoffed lightly. "My whole family's been in Gryffindor. It's pretty much a given for me."

Harry and Nyla shrugged simultaneously. "We don't know yet," Harry said. "We'll just have to wait and see."

"Well, you two had better be in Gryffindor, too," Hermione said matter-of-factly. "It wouldn't do to be separated from your new friend Ron, now would it?"

As she turned to leave, she added, "And by the way, you might want to change into your robes soon. I expect we'll be arriving shortly."

After she left, Ron rolled his eyes. "Whatever house she's in, I hope I'm not in it."

Harry and Nyla chuckled, but Nyla added, "She seems nice, though. A bit intense, but nice."

Ron sighed. "Yeah, maybe. But can you imagine being in the same house as her? It'd be exhausting."

To our lover boy

Siddarth and Emily were in their compartment, chatting animatedly about what they expected from Hogwarts. Emily's eyes sparkled with excitement, while Siddarth's deep blue eyes reflected the same anticipation.

"I can't wait to see the Great Hall," Emily said, her voice filled with wonder. "And the Sorting Hat! Do you think it'll take long to sort us?"

Siddarth shrugged, smiling. "I've heard it varies. Some people get sorted right away, and others take a bit longer. But it'll be fun no matter what."

Just then, the compartment door slid open, and Hermione Granger stepped in. She looked a bit flustered, her eyes scanning the compartment until they landed on Emily.

"Hi, I'm Hermione Granger," she said, her tone brisk but friendly. "Have either of you seen a toad? A boy named Neville's lost one."

Emily shook her head. "No, we haven't seen any toads. I'm Emily, by the way."

Hermione smiled. "Nice to meet you, Emily. It's been a bit of a hectic start to the journey, hasn't it?"

Emily nodded, about to respond, when Hermione's eyes finally landed on Siddarth. Her mouth fell slightly open, and she seemed to freeze in place, her eyes wide with awe. She blinked rapidly, trying to gather her thoughts.

"Uh, hi," Siddarth said, extending a hand. "I'm Siddarth."

Hermione took his hand, her face turning a bright shade of red. "It's, um, nice to meet you, Siddarth," she stammered. "You... you have the most extraordinary eyes.

Emily watched the exchange, a small frown forming on her face. She knew Siddarth was exceptionally handsome, but seeing Hermione's reaction made her feel an unexpected pang of something she couldn't quite name.

As Hermione sat down with them, she couldn't stop sneaking glances at Siddarth, her cheeks still flushed. Before long, Neville Longbottom entered the compartment, looking around nervously.

"Hello," Neville said shyly. "I'm Neville Longbottom. Have you seen my toad?"

Hermione stood up quickly, eager for a distraction. "No, but we'll help you look for it, won't we?" She glanced back at Siddarth one more time, her heart racing, before turning to leave with Neville.

Emily noticed Hermione's lingering glance and felt a bit uneasy. As Hermione and Neville left, Emily turned to Siddarth, trying to mask her feelings.

"She's... very enthusiastic, isn't she?" Emily said, attempting to sound nonchalant.

Siddarth chuckled, not noticing Emily's slight tension. "Yeah, she is. But she seems nice."

Emily forced a smile, her mind racing. She knew Siddarth was her best friend, her only friend, but the way others reacted to him made her wonder if she should be feeling something more. For now, though, she pushed those thoughts aside, focusing on the excitement of the journey ahead.
