After Joshua sauntered out of the room, leaving behind a lingering warmth, he felt his legs turn to jelly. He slumped against the door and slowly sank down to the floor, his back resting against the cool surface. He placed a hand over his pounding heart, trying to steady the wild rhythm it had adopted.
"For fucks sake" He blushed, throwing his head back. His mind replayed Jeonghan's words, each one echoing louder than the last. The compliment, the lingering gaze, the way Jeonghan's smile seemed to be just for him—it all combined to create a dizzying mix of emotions.
"I need to go" He whispered to himself, still not able to let go of that moment. He slowly lingered through the corridor, lazy to take another step. He carried that heavy heart of his, which wouldn't stop beating. He adjusted his clothes once more, making sure everything was in place before heading back to class.
As Joshua opened the door, he immediately noticed Jeonghan sitting in the seat next to his. The sight of him brought a rush of warmth to Joshua's cheeks. Jeonghan had a subtle smirk playing on his lips, and his eyes sparkled with an unmistakable hint of mischief.
Joshua took a deep breath, trying to maintain his composure as he walked toward his desk. The room buzzed with the usual chatter and the occasional rustling of papers, but for Joshua, it felt as though the world had narrowed down to just the two of them.
"Where's the teacher?"Joshua said, attempting a casual tone, though his voice came out a bit softer than intended. Jeonghan looked up at him with that charming smirk still in place. "This is a club classroom, no teachers, mentors take class".
"Oh okay, got it" Joshua sat down, throwing his handful of stuffs down the desk. Just then Nari, entered the room with an enthusiastic air. She was carrying a stack of papers and had a bright, welcoming smile on her face.
"Good morning, everyone!" Nari greeted the room energetically. "I have some exciting news to share. We're organizing a special activity for all of you—a one-night beach trip!" The room buzzed with excited murmurs and exchanged curious glances. Joshua felt a flutter of anticipation at the thought of spending more time with Jeonghan in a different setting.
Nari continued, "We'll have swimming, surfing, and other fun beach activities planned. It's a great opportunity to unwind and enjoy some time outdoors. But before we get into the details, I need you all to pick your roommates for the trip. You'll be sharing rooms, so choose wisely!"
Joshua turned to Jeonghan, who was already looking at him with an amused expression. He couldn't help but feel a surge of hope that Jeonghan might want to be his roommate. Jeonghan leaned slightly closer, his voice low but teasing. "So, are you going to ask me to be your roommate, or do I have to make the first move?"
Joshua chuckled softly, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness. "I am hoping you'd say yes," he replied, his smile widening. Jeonghan's smirk turned into a full-fledged grin. "Looks like we're going to be roommates then."

There it finally was, they day of his club activity which he had long awaited. Joshua remebered last night. Bustling around his room, tossing clothes into his duffel bag with a mix of excitement and nervousness. It was indeed a big deal, so much that he could barely sleep an second, without thinking about jeonghan.
"Looks like someone's got a big day ahead," Vernon teased, his eyes twinkling with playful mischief. "Trying to impress someone special, are we?" Joshua's cheeks flushed a light pink as he shot Vernon a mock glare. "Can you not? I'm just trying to be prepared. This camp is important."
Vernon chuckled and sauntered over to where Joshua was organizing his gear. "Important, huh? I didn't realize packing the perfect number of shorts was a matter of life and death." Joshua rolled his eyes but couldn't help a smile from tugging at his lips. "It's not just about shorts, It's just about looking good, plus i cant walk around naked, can I??"
Vernon raised an eyebrow, clearly enjoying this. "You're really pulling out all the stops. I see you've even packed that new jacket you were saving for a special occasion." Joshua's eyes widened slightly as he glanced at the neatly folded jacket in his bag. "Hey, that jacket is just practical. It's warm and waterproof, that's all."
"Sure," Vernon said with a grin. "And I bet that cologne you're sneaking in there is just for the smell of the campfire." Joshua felt his face heat up even more. "Well, I might as well smell good if I'm going to be around people, right?" Vernon laughed. "You know, you're pretty cute when you're all flustered. I bet Jeonghan will think so too."
"Shut up" Joshua huffed, trying to stay focused on his packing, but the teasing and Vernon's playful comments made it hard to keep his mind from wandering to thoughts of Jeonghan. Vernon clapped him on the back, still grinning. "Don't worry, Joshua. You've got this. Just be yourself, and I'm sure Jeonghan will see what a great guy you are. And if not, at least you'll have a killer jacket and some very well-packed Shorts"
"VERNONNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!"
