The morning sun streamed through the curtains of the apartment Mitsugi and Suguri shared, casting a warm glow over the remnants of their once-cozy haven. Mitsugi sat at the small kitchen table, staring blankly at the cup of coffee in front of him. The events of the previous evening played on a loop in his mind, each memory a fresh wound.

Suguri entered the room quietly, his eyes puffy and red. He sat down opposite Mitsugi, the silence between them heavy with unspoken words. Finally, Suguri broke the silence, his voice barely above a whisper.

"Have you made a decision?"

Mitsugi looked up, his eyes filled with anguish. "I... I don't know, Suguri. Everything is so confusing right now."

Suguri reached across the table and took Mitsugi's hand in his. "Whatever you decide, just know that I want you to be happy. That's all I've ever wanted."

Tears welled up in Mitsugi's eyes. "I never wanted to hurt you, Suguri. I wish things were different."

Suguri gave a sad smile. "So do I. But we can't change the past. We can only move forward."

Mitsugi nodded, squeezing Suguri's hand tightly before letting go. He stood up, grabbing his jacket from the back of the chair. "I need some air. I need to clear my head."

Suguri watched him leave, his heart heavy with a mixture of sorrow and acceptance. He knew that whatever path Mitsugi chose, it would mark the beginning of a new chapter in both their lives.

Leviathan Armelonia stood by the entrance of the university library, his imposing figure drawing the attention of passersby. His black mask and the way his hair covered his left eye gave him an enigmatic aura, but his cold, stern demeanor kept most people at a distance. Today, however, his mind was elsewhere, occupied by thoughts of Mitsugi.

He glanced at his watch, wondering if Mitsugi would come. The uncertainty gnawed at him, an unfamiliar feeling for someone so used to control and precision. When he finally saw Mitsugi approaching, his heart gave a small, involuntary leap.

"Mitsugi," Leviathan greeted, his voice as steady as ever. "I'm glad you came."

Mitsugi nodded, his expression a mix of determination and turmoil. "We need to talk."

Leviathan led him to a secluded bench under a large oak tree, away from prying eyes and ears. They sat in silence for a moment before Mitsugi spoke, his voice trembling.

"I can't ignore what I feel for you, Leviathan. But I also can't just abandon everything and everyone I care about."

Leviathan's gaze softened slightly, though his expression remained serious. "I understand. This decision isn't easy for you, and I would never pressure you to choose one life over another."

Mitsugi took a deep breath, trying to steady his racing thoughts. "I need more time. Time to figure out what I really want, and what's best for everyone involved."

Leviathan nodded. "Take all the time you need. I'll be here, waiting for your decision."

As they sat together in the quiet shade of the oak tree, Mitsugi felt a small measure of peace settle over him. He knew that whatever choice he made, it would be his own, free from external pressure or influence.

Back at the apartment, Suguri paced the living room, anxiously waiting for Mitsugi's return. He knew that their relationship would never be the same, but he hoped that they could find a way to move forward, whether together or apart.

When Mitsugi finally walked through the door, he looked more composed, though the weight of his decision still hung heavily on his shoulders. Suguri stopped pacing and faced him, bracing himself for whatever came next.

"I've decided to stay," Mitsugi said quietly. "At least for now. I need to sort out my feelings and make sure that whatever choice I make, it's the right one."

Suguri felt a surge of relief, though it was tempered by the knowledge that this was only a temporary reprieve. "I'm glad you're staying, Mitsugi. We can work through this together."

Mitsugi nodded, a small smile forming on his lips. "Thank you, Suguri. For everything."

As they embraced, the future still uncertain, they both knew that the road ahead would be difficult. But for now, they had each other, and that was enough.
