° Dark Side Story °

The Night Pt.4

     Mark and Bella were now in a private room of his penthouse . There was a party going on still downstairs in hall , and everyone was enjoying loud music and alcohol , dance and some special moments with their partners or friends .

     Bella was going back and forth in front of a big glass window , not able to sit down because of how frustrated she was at the moment , eagerly waiting for Mark to explain everything and short out the visible misunderstanding between them .

     “ You said you went on a mission , that too on my father's command . Why didn't he said anything to me then ? why didn't you came back after an entire year ? Where were you ? Didn't you thought you can massage me or inform me once !? ” Bella asked everything that was in her mind right now , unable hide this inside her anymore . She stopped moving and faced Mark who was waiting for her to stop , standing near the closest door , both hands in pocket , leaning on the closest for support and eyes fixed on her raged Pheonix .

     “ Sit down first.” Mark said as he walked towards her . Bella backed off from him , but Mark didn't allowed her to do that thus time , he held her hand and took her to the bed and med her sit there and he himself set down on his knees in front of her on the floor , love , respect and softness of her was clearly visible in his eyes . Bella just followed what he indicated him to do without much resistance and set down on bed while confusion , and longing for love was making her eyes a bit teary .

     “ Last time when we were together , this same place , same penthouse and same party for my batch , and I invited you to join becouse I want to spend some time with you . You were special that time for me Bell and you are now too ! No one can change the fact that you hold special place in my heart . You wanna know what happened that night right !? Why did I leave and where was I for a year !? I'll tell you everything , I want too explain everything , but first , calm down , I'm here now , you don't have to act strong in front of me , I've got you my pheonix !” Mark said as he wanted Bella to calm down before he starts with his explanation and give her more shocks again , he needed to make sure she is in stable state and that she knows that she have someone she can lay on .

     Bella was breathing heavily , trying to regulate her breathing and looking at Mark who was trying to calm her down , it was rare for her to feel safe , but she did with Mark ! And that made her relaxed a bit , she knew even if they are not on good terms now , Mark will never take advantage of her weak state . She couldn't hold herself back anymore and tears ran down her face after long , she cried after an entire year . Last time she cried was when she got to know that Mark left him without any clue. She wrapped her arms around Mark and hide her face in Mark's nack , Mark also wrapped his arms securely around her and started rubbing her back , running his one hand in her hair to get her to comfort .

     He got up from were he was and took Bella in his arms , going around the bed on the other side he set down on the bed while Bella was still holding tight on him crying , for others Bella might be someone who was so strong , but only few knew about her this childish side where she only wanted to be cherished and loved without any judgement or fear .

     Mark didn't wanted to disturb her , so he just decided to stay like that while holding on to her fragile pheonix  , who needed him to comfort her and cherish her like his priority . Mark realised how his heart beat was calmed after Bella hugged him , it was like he found his home , his safe place .
