"So, Alice lass, mind explaining all of this?" Brock commented on as they entered the room Alice went to, it was a small room, walls painted a light taint of yellow that was crumbling apart, and all there was a board, full of pictures of what seemed like nonsense. Darrell put a hand up to Brock's chest, halting him. "Let her explain this all, and we'll explain ourselves to her." Alice clocked her head. "We are not the focus for now, just explain everything, we will do the same, and then we can talk about it." Darrell explained.

Alice sighed "I haven't a hell's clue who you are, but if I have to do this by God I will, just to help him out this, atleast." She looked solemn, before moving to the board and putting her hand to a logo, the human brain, a bright yellow colour with a human eye, coloured completely blue, just like what Brock saw in that person's eyes that faithful night. "This is HyperMind, H.M. is a abbreviation. So is M.E., which stands for Maverick..." she paused. "I don't actually know what the last part stands for, he never told me..." Alice scratched her scar under her mouth after that, she genuinely didn't know. Darrell was suspicious. "How long have you been with Gio at this point even? I feel like he would've told you who this is." Alice hesitated to respond, but she gave in, knowing leaving them in the dark wouldn't make things any better.

"I've been with Gio for three years. I've stuck with him because, frankly, I just want to see him improve." Alice turned away from the men as she began to talk about Gio. "HyperMind has....effected him. Not in a hypnotic way, he has just gotten severe trauma from them, even the slightest glance at any sort of mention of HyperMind set him off, trying to warn everyone about HyperMind and Maverick, that they're going to join him if they don't leave." Alice turned around, a more worried look on her face. "He never lets me help him regarding this, he has become blinded by his trauma from Maverick that he can't even say his full name with trying to tear this house apart..."
She paused. "I'm getting off topic."

Darrell and Brock were quiet, but knew they needed to do something. Darrell and Brock looked at eachother, sharing a glance, both knowing on what they were going to do next. Darrell went up to Alice and spoke. "Alice, I do not know the full extent of what has happened with Gio and You, but I am severely sorry for this. We will try helping you both, we promise." Alice and Darrell both glanced at Brock, who nodded. "Thank you." was all Alice said from that. Brock went up to her. "Alice lass, I think it's about time we explain ourselves, just try not to freak out, ight?" Alice looked weirded out. "Alright.."

------------------------

Gio's room was a mess.

Compared to the rest of the house, it was a clusterfuck.

The room was filled with drawings and scribbles of a yellow human brain and a blue human eye, being crossed out and walls being smashed into, one of the drawings that had been smashed has a small ax in it, Gio's.

The room had pictures of multiple people on the floor, most of them having a bright neon yellow eyes with blue pupils, similar to the drawings.

Nearby, next to a bed, was a board where multiple rambles about eye protection and victims were written, but it was written so crudely, you could barely make out it was meant to be writing at all.

Evanna stood still, she had been shocked by the sight, but she regained composure over herself and asked Gio. "What is this?"

"What they've done to me." Gio simply said, slowly walking into the room, started to twitch, holding up one of the photos, a frame of a woman, seeming to be in her mid 20s, with the yellow eyes. "They're going to take everyone's minds. I cannot let them, I...I...." Gio started grabbing his hair with one hand, and searching through all of the photos, taking him minutes until he saw the one he was looking for, a photo of a man, aging into his 60s, wearing a blue suit, with a fine yellow tie, and a nametag.

            " The CEO of HyperMind,
                            Maverick             "

Gio's eyes widened and his teeth gritted. He started to grunt and his hand went off his head and teared the photo of that "man" apart. He has done this to him. He has made him like this, he has ruined his mind more the any other victim of this company.

"I will be the end of them." Gio said, turning around to see Evanna.

Except she wasn't there.

Evanna had went downstairs long ago.

Gio realising, what he probably showed to Evanna, started hiding all the photos in the floor into his bed, "Why did I do that?" Gio panicked to himself. "I traumatised that kid!" He started to panic and tear up. Once he had shoved the pictures into the bed, he rushed down stairs to see where Evanna had went.

Evanna went back to where she was sitting with Gio before they went upstairs. She didn't look upset. She was swinging her legs back and forth, and she was writing hunched forward into what seemed to be a diary. She seemed OK.

Gio went down to Evanna, nervous as all hell. Evanna saw him, and she hunched back a bit, frowning a small . "Listen..." He spoke up. "I'm..."
"It's okay!" Evanna interrupting his apology. "Mr. Darrell told me that I should take myself out of situations I don't feel good in, you're alright!" Gio cocked an eyebrow before half hazardly coming up with a response. "Well, these people must really take care of you well, don't they?" Evanna nodded happily. Evanna smiled. Gio didn't.
How can any child like her be this ignorant about how he had just acted? Is she just oblivious to things? No, then why would she have left his room, it makes no sense why-

They heard a door open, and then Brock, Darrell and Alice waltzed into the room, Darrell looking neutral as ever, Brock looking like he's trying hard to not laugh, and Alice having a wide eyed expression. She looked like something you would see in a cartoon. Gio raised an eyebrow. "Alice? The hell-"

"Just sit down for this one, this will settle in eventually." Darrell said suddenly, they began to explain, and showcase their powers and what they could do.
