🎟️🌸❤️ Splashes - Swordbox

It was a hot summer day, Boombox was enjoying his time at the beach, playing beats on his laptop, which was connected to some speakers at the bar. At said bar, Slingshot was preparing drinks for other phighters.

Boombox changed the beat to something more tropical. It was a fun, energetic song.

Everyone enjoyed the atmosphere.

Soon enough, Boombox would take a break and head over to the water, to take a dip. He swam for like thirty something minutes, enjoying the refreshing waves of water.

As Boombox was diving underwater, he bumped into a phighter. He quickly came up to the surface and apologized. The phighter in question? Sword.

"Oh- Sorry Sword, didn't see you.." Boombox apologized.

"Nah, it's fine, don't worry!" Sword said, smiling softly. "Wanna hang out in the water together? We don't really talk, I know, but I wanted to know if you'd like to."

Boombox thought for a bit. "Sure!... Water fight!!" Boombox began to splash water at Sword, who splashed water back at him, and it continued like this for a while.

After like 20 minutes of splashing and giggles, they decided to do a cannon ball contest, because there was a dock nearby. whoever would do the biggest splashes would win.

Boombox ended up winning that contest, after nearly landing on Sword, who didn't get out in time.

The two now rested on some sun loungers (the long chairs yk), sipping one some sodas.

"You nearly squished me!" Sword laughed.

"I know, but I did the best cannon balls, didn't I?" Boombox smirked. "I'm the best at cannon balls!"

They laughed together, enjoying the warm sunset. It was quite the sight. Boombox looked at it, in awe.

"Beautiful scenery, hm?" Sword said.

"... yeah..."

"... We should hang out more often, yknow."

"Whenever you can, Sword, just give me a call. I'm free most of the time."

"Let's splash again tomorrow. Another beach day?" Sword suggested.

"You bet your gear I'll come." Boombox chuckled.

The two phighters spent the rest of the night chit chatting before eventually going back to their home.
