"Tomioka-san" Tanjiro's voiced echoed into Tomioka Giyu's ears. Messy black hair, clear sky blue eyes fading away away slowly into grey.
"Here's your miso soup, Nezuko made it just for you" Tanjiro said giving the sweetest smile. "Thank you" Giyu said weakly as he groaned and got up from his bed. Giyu for one fact knew that his time was up and he was spending his last few days resting in his home.
He wasn't scared, he was just upset. Maybe if Sabito had been with him maybe this wouldn't have been the case. Maybe he could have saved the other hashiras. Maybe then, Shinobu might be still alive...
Giyu was always quite empty filled with survivor's guilt and could never really express himself but when he was with Shinobu, he just felt a sense of fullness and completeness. Such a shame that she passed away in the fight against Doma.
Till date Giyu hadn't shread a tear for the loss of the love of his life which he would never admit that he was depressed. The sorrowness and regret was tearing him apart, he was reaching 25 years in a few days too, he had activavted his demon slayer mark during the final battle and now he was just a dying corpse.
