3rd Person Pov:

Chad suggested that Chloe get something for Red because of how long she had been ignoring her. So, Chloe was heading to the mall to find something for Red.

She saw something on display while she was passing through multiple shops. It contained a heart-shaped promise ring that happens to be red and blue, which overjoyed Chloe since she just found the perfect gift to give Red.

She chose to purchase Red some snacks as a bonus after purchasing the ring as a way to apologize. She then began her journey through the Enchanted Forest. She slipped a few times since it was a little bumpy. Upon arriving at the Enchanted Lake, she spotted Red sitting calmly with her feet slightly submerged in the water.

Red looked so beautiful at that instant that Chloe felt as though she was falling in love with her all over again.

After observing Red from a distance for a few more minutes, she made the decision to finally approach her and set down the items she had purchased-aside from the small box that contained the ring in her pocket-just as she was about to speak. "You finally came."

Chloe's Pov:

My heart fell as she eventually turned to face me, her eyes stained with tears and her appearance indicating that she hadn't been getting much sleep. As I attempted to approach her, she raised her hands, indicating that I should stop walking toawrd her.

"Shit she's like this because of me Chloe you idiot."

Feeling bad about what I did and how much harm it caused Red, I thought to myself.

"Chloe, please, what did I do to deserve that?" She asked me, with a trembling voice, indicating she was about to cry, so I hurried over to her side and hugged her tight. Even when she was trying to resist, she punched my chest to make me let go, but I didn't.

"It's not your fault, Red it's my fault." She didn't reply and just kept crying on my chest while I played with her hair to try and calm her down. I felt her breathing slowly go back to normal, which made me smile because she likes it when I do that. "Let me explain, Red, so please just look at me." I said to her quietly while letting go of her, and when she finally made eye contact with me, a tear escaped, so I wiped it, but I did not remove my hands from her cheek.

"Look, I know what I did was not cool, but I was confused. Being in love with a girl made me so scared and confused, but as the weeks went by, I ignored you and I felt awful, but in those past couple of days I was trying to understand my feelings so I could finally understand what I was feeling for you." She didn't respond to my explanation, which made me nervous, but she didn't make me let go of my hand on her cheek, and I take that as a good sign.

"You broke my heart, Chloe. You know I only have one, despite being the Princess of Heart." She replied, which made me feel worse because I knew how much she had gone through before we go back in time to stop her mother from becoming a tyrant. "I know, sweetheart, but I will do everything in my power to mend the heart that I broke piece by piece, even if it takes weeks, months, or even years, because I love you, Red Hearts, and you are worth the wait." I then took the ring from my pocket, opened it, and gestured it to her.

"Red, this is a promise ring; it will remind you that I am willing to fix what I broke, even if it takes years, because I love you so much." She then slowly grabbed the rings and admired them. "You promise?" She asked, making eye contact with me. I simply smiled at her. "I promise, Red, you are worth the wait."

She simply flushed, which made me laugh, and then she began putting the ring on her middle finger. She then gestured for my hand. "You're hand, Princess." I blushed at her since I missed her calling me princess, and then I extended my hand. She then carefully placed the ring on my hand and did not let go.

Then she drew me closer, causing my lips to crash into hers.

Red's Pov:

I forgave her the instant she came here since the only thing that could heal my broke heart was simply showing up. So, as she extended her hand to me and I placed the ring on her finger, I drew her closer to me, causing her lips to meet mine. After a few seconds, I felt her kissing me back, which made me grin, and I wrapped my arms around her neck to deepen the kiss.

After a few minutes, we finally separated our lips, and when I looked at her face, she was blushing, which made me laugh, so I pecked her on the lips. "So, Princess, what did you get for me?" I asked, reminding her that I knew she had purchased me something. "Your favorite snack," she replied, making me smile because she knows what my favorites are.

"But my favorite snack is right in front of me?" I asked in a fake, confused tone. She was blushing so hard after understanding what I had just said. "Red." She grumbled, making me laugh as she stood up. Then I saw she was about to slip, but I caught her in time and brought her to my chest.

"Careful Princess, I thought I was supposed to be the one who fall not you." She simply gave me a mockery glare, and I giggled at her reaction. Then I stayed for a long on the spot while she began to bring out the food she bought.

"I love this girl."
