Summary Max's family finds about Lucas 🩷 Maxs POV: Me and lucas were sitting in my room my parents don't even know he was there we were just watching OBX in my bed until Lucas burped for his "new" coke, i don't understand why he likes that stuff he says "its sweeter,bolder,and better" ,but there is a lot of stuff i don't understand why he likes, i don't understand why he likes me either i have crazy nappy hair freckles I'm fat i skateboard like a little boy and i still cant say the "L" word back to him.
Back to the subject when lucas burped i was trying so hard to hold in my laughter so hard that i had to kiss him straight on his lips letting it settle in and then the kiss getting hotter and hotter turning into a make out session for about 30 mins until my mom came into my room "max baby do you ha- OH" my mom gasped "mom its not what it looks like" i say sitting down with one knee up and my hands holding me up "well what it looks like to me is how you ended up in this world" my mom says with her southern accent that i grew out of but still talk like sometimes "momma, i promise its way far from that" i say putting my accent on the momma "we'll talk about this when your father gets home" she says than walking away "and get that boy out of my house!!" My mom yells softly still walking down the hallway to the laundry room picking up the laundry basket "yes ma'am" lucas says with a scared expression grabbing his shoes not bothering to put them on and running out of my room and down the stairs to the front door "bye lucas" i yell out the front with a embarrassed smile closing the door biting my lip and sliding down it Lucas POV: I ran down the stairs faster than you could say "I" and out of the front door "BYE LUCAS" i hear max yell and I turn around and wave and race my bike back home Max POV: "So his name is Lucas" my mom says while putting my bangs and the rest of my hair in rollers (This is set in the 90s I change my mind but they are still s3 ages)

"Yes" I responded to my mom "max i know your mad at me for saying that your gonna end up pregnant like me at your age but im just looking out for you" she says stopping on my hair for a second "i get that mom but lucas isn't like that he wouldn't do anything to hurt me and wouldn't let anything in this world hurt me and we've talked about sex and im 100% sure we wont do it until we're ready" I informed my mom "ok max but i have one question" i hummed in response "how long have you been dating him" my mom asked "its gonna be 2 years in 4 months and 8 days" I tell her in a matter fact way "wow max im proud of you but when did yoh kiss him" my mom questions me looking at me interested "actually it was at the snowball" i answered with a cheeky smile "really!? Oh my how old were you like twelve" " i was thirteen mom" I corrected her
We had our giggles and watched "now and then"

It just came out and me and my mom cannot stop watching it and then billy got home and greeted me and my mom and went up to his room My dad isn't supposed to come back until tomorrow so me snd my mom soon went to bed
