IMRAN

Yesterday, in the meeting room, my team presented an innovative project idea that caught my attention.

I was impressed, but I also wanted to explore potential collaborations with other companies to take it to the next level.

I instructed Mirza Shah to search for a suitable partner, and after a while, he returned with a file and a suggestion - SA Enterprises. As I flipped through the pages, one name jumped out at me "Shanaya Armani".

My thoughts drifted back to those captivating hazel eyes, and suddenly, the memory of our first encounter flashed before me.

Before I knew it, a soft smile spread across my face, as I relived the moment we shared.

Lost in the memory of our moment, feeling the spark of connection all over again, my heart swelled with a warm, fuzzy feeling.

Mirza Shah's question broke the silence,

"Sir, is there something in the file that caught your attention and made you smile?"
His eyes sparkled with curiosity.

I raised an eyebrow, my expression was doubtful, and asked,

"What?" My tone was laced with a hint of amusement.

Mirza Shah faltered, then swiftly shifted the subject, "Umm... nothing, sir. What's your impression of the company I referred to you? Do you think it's a good fit for our business?" His words tumbled out in a gentle rush, betraying his earlier curiosity.

"Call her and invite for lunch tomorrow," I instructed Mirza Shah, trying to sound nonchalant despite my inner excitement. He nodded and exited the room.

Maybe it's just about the upcoming project," I told myself, trying to rationalise the excitement building up inside me.

"Yes, that's it. The project. I'm just eager to discuss the details and get started."

I arrived at the restaurant early, a habit of mine that has become second nature. As I waited for her, I couldn't help but feel a mix of anticipation and curiosity. And then, she walked in.

"Hello, Miss Armani," I greeted her, rising from my seat.

"Hey," she replied, her eyes meeting mine for a brief moment. I gestured for her to take a seat, and she nodded graciously.

As we settled in, she asked, "I guess I kept you waiting?"

I smiled and reassured her, "Not at all, I just arrived a few minutes ago."

I suggested we should order first, and she agreed.

The waiter presented us with a menu, and I inquired about her preferences. "One pizza lettuce wrap and a cold drink, please," she replied.

I opted for "Alfredo chicken pasta" and a cold drink as well. As the waiter took our orders and departed.

SHANAYA

I was bursting with excitement as I walked into the restaurant, wearing my favourite suit and hoping to make a great impression.

I knew I had to get a grip with my heart , but those piercing eyes of his had a way of making me lose my composure.

I couldn't help but feel drawn to him, and it was a feeling I couldn't felt before.

As I entered, my breath caught in my throat. It had been days since I had seen him, and I had missed his charming smile, his captivating eyes, and everything about him.
