"Is everyone ready? They will be coming anytime soon. Anjali, go and see if Kanu is ready," Anita says, as everyone is busy with preparations. Anjali goes to the bride's room where Kanisha is getting ready.

"Di! You're looking beautiful," Anjali says, looking at her sister, who is sitting on a chair while the makeup artist does her makeup.

"Sach me?" Kanisha asks, as her sister never compliments her, and this is the first time she is actually complimenting her.

"Yeah, actually I thought I should compliment you at least once," Anjali says, her voice filled with mockery.

"I knew it. How can you even compliment me?" Kanisha replies, and they both laugh, looking at each other, knowing after today they won't see each other on a daily basis. It is a heartfelt moment for both of them.

"Di, you're literally getting married, and I won't be able to see you after today,"Anjali's eyes well up, and a tear escapes, which Kanisha gently wipes away.

"Who said this, huh? I will come whenever I wish, okay? And whenever you want to meet me, just call me, okay? I will come to meet you. This will still be my house even after I'm married, okay?" she says, cupping Anjali's face and wiping the tear from her eyes. Suddenly, they hear their mother's voice as Anita comes in.

"Aur nahi toh kya. Yeh iska ghar hai. Jab iska maan karega, yeh aayegi. Hai na?" Anita says, coming towards them.

[This is her house. whenever she feels like coming here, she can come. Right?]

"Haan, Ma," Kanisha says. Anita kisses her daughter on the forehead.

"Boht pyaari lag rahi ho," Anita says, looking at her from head to toe.
