Chapter 3

Miles

You know when your body kinda just does it's own thing?Like your mind is telling you to stop whatever the fuck you're doing but you're so in the moment you just can't.

Well I blame my mind for what I did next, I grab the guys bicep and squeeze it hard before whispering in his ear,"Unless you want to leave the bar with a broken nose I suggest you leave.Now."

The scrawny looking guy looks up at me before wincing and leaving.Pathetic, first he attempts to grope Nessa, then just runs off, probably to find another girl to grope.I let out a curse before Nessa looks at me straight in the eye while saying,"I thought violence wasn't the answer."She says while mocking me.

"Ever heard of the words "Thank you" before or is that a foreign language?"I say while crossing my arms.

"Only when people are actually deserve it."She says while storming off to a very drunk looking Avery and un-phased Cameron.

Before I can turn around someone's hand is on my shoulder.I turn around to see Austin with a shit eating grin on his face.

"What the hell was that?" he says with an amused face.

"What was what?"I pretend to seem confused of what he's talking about, like I said I blame my brain.

"You saving Vanessa, "she can rot in hell for all I care"." he says with air quotes.

Does everyone feel the need to mock me today.

"Nothing, I saw someone grope Nessa I took action. I'm not that shallow just because I hate her doesn't mean I won't try to help."Not entirely a lie bit the closest we'll get.

Austin looks at me with a un-convinced face before saying,"Bullshit, hate to say it but girls get groped all the time at Midnight and you wouldn't give two fucks about it.Let alone it being Nessa."

"Can we just drop it I'm really pissed and that guy was pissing me off more."I say.Another little white lie but Austin didn't need to know.

He eyes me before saying,"Fine let's just go, I know we've only been here for an hour but Avery is drunk as fuck and Cameron looked more entertained at home than here."

I sigh and follow Austin to the group of girls.

"Okay we're leaving."Austin says so proudly.

I almost elbow him but stop myself.No wonder Avery does't tell him anything he's so fucking bossy it's honestly a major red flag.I should have a talk with him later.

"My beautiful, amazing, sweet big brother.Why must we leave so soon?We are having soooooooooo much fun" Avery drunkly says while stumbling.

"Um no we aren't I'm ready to leave."Cameron says while grabbing her purse.

"How may drinks did she have?"Austin asks while grabbing his sisters arm so she doesn't face plant.

"At least 3.She's isn't very good with alcohol."Nessa says with a shrug.

"Oh my god."Austin says while slapping his forehead.

"Noooooooo I wannaaaa staaayyy."Avery says.

"No we don't let's go, you had way to much to drink."Nessa says

Cameron nods in agreement before she holds Avery from the other arm and practically drags her out.

Once we finally drag Avery out of the bar like a kid out the candy store we get to the car.

"Fuck."Austin says while running a hand through his hair.

He quickly points at Nessa and asks,"You didn't drink did you?"

"Of course I did it's a bar for a reason."She says with an eye roll,"Why are you asking?"

"If everyone drank then we don't have a driver."He explains.

"Oh don't worry!" Nessa say's while snapping her finger.She grabs Cameron's hand and says,"Cam will drive.She didn't drink a drop."

She grins even wider while saying,"Trust me she's great."

Cameron doesn't look as enthusiastic as Nessa does before saying,"If I don't crash into anything it's my luck day."She says with a shrug.

"Absolutely not.This is my car and I'm not about to have Cameron driving it when there is a 50/50 chance none of us will make it home alive."

Nessa just grins even wider and says,"Well unless you want to get pulled over I suggest you let Cam do the driving."

I sigh and point at Cam before saying "Anything happens to my car YOU will be held responsible."

"Can't promise anything."She says while holding her hands up.

"Don't woryyyyy."Avery says while flapping her right arm at me,"Cam will do just fineee."

"Okay time to get you into the car."Austin says while opening the car door.

We all pile into the car,Austin up with Cameron, Nessa in the middle and Avery beside her."

"Okay everyone buckled up!" Cameron asks us.

I sigh, this is not going to end well.Rest in peace my beloved car.
