Stefan was driving to Tyler's house, on the way over there he was already overthinking about this plan to kill Klaus. He has been keeping a secret from his girlfriend and her son. He made a right turn causing to snap Ophelia's head towards her boyfriend.

"Uh. Stefan, you turned the wrong way. Tyler's house is that way." Ophelia told Stefan. Did he forget where her ex lived?

"We not going to homecoming," Stefan responded to Ophelia and she confused about what is Stefan saying.

"What do you mean we are not going? I literally dress up and put all this makeup to look good for tonight." Ophelia watches as they pull up at the Salvatore boarding house. She saw that every light was off meaning no one's home.

"We are leaving. Starting a brand new life. No more of this supernatural drama." Stefan tells his girlfriend. No life of a supernatural drama would mean leaving her family and friends.

Ophelia was dragged into this situation and she didn't know how to feel at the time but only feeling scared. Right now, she feels overwhelmed by this drama after having Henrik unexpectedly. She wanted out and have a brand new life with her new boyfriend and her son, and to be safe most of all.

"Henrik, would this be fine with you?" Ophelia looked at the back where he son was.

"I think it's a great idea." Henrik supported what Stefan was saying. It would be great to just drive away and start a new life.

The moment they all agreed on leaving Mystic Falls behind. Stefan got all this stuff he needed and wanted to take with him, he made the ultimate decision to leave his books of diaries behind since he brought him to the past. He didn't want to bring along with him, it would bring back the horrible things he has done in the past centuries.

Before he left, he wanted to leave a note to his brother telling him that he was going to be fine. Stefan would possibly will contact him when he is ready then leave it on the top of Damon's bourbon collection knowing he would drink after failing to kill Klaus.

Stefan drove up back to Ophelia's and she and her son grabbed everything they needed. He drove to a car dealership to steal one of the cars because he wasn't going to drive his car with all of them close. They needed room for their bags.

After Ophelia's boyfriend came back with a 2010 Honda Fit. It was a perfect fit. They started loading the car with their bags and changed into comfortable clothes because they had no idea how long they would be in the car. All of them left their phones so they wouldn't have to answer their spamming messages and calls.

Stefan was driving to the exit of Mystic Falls, not knowing if they would return. Ophelia saw the exiting and also saw an exited out of the supernatural world. It still exists in their life but not with the drama going on. Stefan puts his hand on Ophelia's thighs comforting her and she sets her hand on top of his as he drives past the Mystic Falls sign.
