Alexandra's POV:
I watched Draco sit in silence with his hands in his hair, contempt whether he should tell me or not. "Alexandra.. fuck.. fuck it. Listen, I don't want you to judge me, okay? I haven't told this to anyone and you're the first person after my parents to know about this."

"Draco... just- leave it." I don't think he completely trusted me yet to let me know about a part of his life that he hid from everyone. I felt like he needed time and some space to let everything around him sink in.

He held me by my hand as I got up. "Alexandra, sit down. Do not make me repeat."

I nodded and sat in front of him.

"It's about her," he stopped for a while as he looked at me for a while. "Astoria."

"Before our parents signed a contract to get us both married to keep our bloodline pure, there was a contract signed between the Malfoys and the Greengrass'." Draco continued as he finally got the courage to open up about his past.

"So you knew about the contract between our families the whole time?" His words came as a shock, because as far as I know Draco, he would have done anything and everything to not let that happen.

"No, of course I didn't. I knew about it the day you got to know about it too." He answered.

"Then? What happened between you and her?"

"Because of our marriage contract, we were forced to be in a relationship in the fourth year and got engaged in the fifth year." He sighed. "I didn't like her more than friends and she was very well aware of this. However, she had romantic feelings for me."

"But...you both looked like you were so in love. I've seen you both making out in the hallways and in the great hall in Hogwarts." I replied. At first I thought he was lying because back then I thought Draco and Astoria had both lost their virginity to each other. That could be true because Astoria would always talk about Draco whenever she talked with us.

"You really think I did that out of love? No. It was just to make some- I was bored, I wanted to have fun like all of my other friends. They were with the people that they liked and I was forced to be with someone because of the bloodline."

I nodded and I wanted to ask him which I was so sure that it would make him uncomfortable, "did you take her virginity?"

His eyes widened because I knew for a fact that he didn't see that coming. "Alexandra." He laughed in disbelief, "yeah, we did have sex."

"I figured. She would come to Pansy and I and would talk about you all the time and um.. whatever you both did."

He rubbed his neck in unease as he looked at me. "Everything was going smoothly until one day," he stopped. He took a deep breath in and continued, "in the middle of our fifth year, it was out by the Daily Prophet that your father had an affair. During that time, your dad desperately needed someone as powerful as him to help him out, and the only person who comes close to his level is my father."

"Wh-what?"

He nodded. "My dad agreed to helped him out but only in one condition..." he stopped. "Fuck, you're not going to like hearing this."

"Draco, stop the crap and tell me."

"The condition was if your dad agreed to sign a contract to keep our bloodline pure by getting us both married."

"Why did your dad want you to have two wives?"

"What? No. He cancelled the contract with the Greengrass'. Because their business was down, plus your family had, has, and will forever remain to have the biggest name in the wizarding world and it is a fact."

"The Greengrass' couldn't take this in and they decided to put fake allegations on me for sexual assault. They did that..." he stopped for a while and shut his eyes for a moment and continued, "and that is why there was a lot happening with me in the sixth year..." his voice broke.

"It physically, mentally, and emotionally drained me. I knew how hard it was for my parents to prove me innocent...Alexandra, trust me I never touched her without her consent. Whatever happened between us, it was always consensual. The Greengrass' did that because the contract was called off and they wanted my family to beg them to take the allegations back and go to them with the marriage contract."

"Draco..."He looked up, controlling the tears in his eyes. I had never seen him this vulnerable and it was a shocker. I didn't think once and wasted no time in going near him and giving him a tight hug. I wrapped my arms around his hard body. He instantly responded by hugging me back.

"Draco, I'm so sorry... you've always been so misunderstood." I whispered into his ear as I gently rubbed his head. His grip around me tightened as I felt his tears on the crook of my neck. "I was just sixteen and I wanted to live like like normal teenager." He sobbed. "I saw every other kid my age having the time of their lives... I really wanted to be like them."

I rubbed his head gently and whispered, "Draco, shh... it's over. You're fine now, mhmm? I'm not going anywhere. I'm here." I knew actions meant more than words and right now I wasn't in the right place to even think about something. It was a lot to process and it was my time to be there for him. Draco.

We stayed like that for God knows how long, until his sobs stopped. I felt him rest on my shoulder, still hugging me tightly. I tried to let myself get out of his grip, but he was a strong man. I caressed his back until my eyes felt heavy and instantly fell asleep.

Draco's POV:
I have absolutely no idea how I ended up revealing something that I tried hiding from people. But it was Alexandra, and I knew she would understand me. Right from childhood I was told that crying was a sign of weakness and boys were not supposed to cry- it makes them weak.

But with Alexandra, everything felt right. My heart, my mind, and my soul felt lighter each time I talked to her. With her, I forget about my problems. She never failed to bring a smile to my face.

As soon as I revealed about my past, I mind felt lighter. It's like all of my problems vanished- she took away my problems. She was an angel.

As soon as I my eyes fluttered open, I felt a light weight body on top of me. Then, I remembered the events that took place last night. It was Alexandra sleeping on top of me. She looked too peaceful to be woken up. I moved her hair to the other side of her face and tucked it behind her hair. Seeing her sleep lit up my eyes.

"Draco," she mumbled in her sleep. The drowsiness I felt instantly washed away as I heard her slowly mumble my name. Slowly, she opened her eyes. Her brown eyes met my grey one and shade of pink formed on her cheeks.

She got up from me and walked away from the couch by saying, "Draco, I'm sorry. I didn't realise when I fell asleep." With that, she sprinted towards her room.

Seeing her act like a child made me giggle. She was making me feel things and I was starting to realise that. "Fuck." I gasped. "This isn't supposed to happen. How can- fuck."

I rested my head in my hands as I realised how fucked up this was going to be. Alexandra and I were polar opposite. Why would I think about us that way? It's not like there's something going on between us. But whatever it was, I knew this feeling had to go away.
