"Hurry,go!"

Whispering loudly, you pushed Vash towards the slim rusted door on the side of the hallway.

You were grateful he didn't argue and slid the sliding door open as the shouts from the Eyes coming from the other side of the hallway, you'd both been hurrying down moments before were rapidly approaching.

The gunman entered without a second thought even as you couldn't make anything out in the darkness behind the door yet.

You stopped for a moment to glance over to were you expected the Eyes to appear any instant now, wondering if you should turn invisible and create a distraction.

However, the idea hadn't even had the chance to fully flesh out in your mind that you felt yourself stumble back.

"Oh, no you don't!" Vash's gentle but reprimanding voice echoed right behind you as he pulled you into the darkness with him, closing the door in the same swift motion.

You felt the urge to argue back, but the sound of running footsteps in the hall as well as the overwhelming surge of heated sparks that spread over your body as the back of your body was pulled flush against the blond man's front had you sharply inhaling in silence instead.

The darkness was barely broken in by the rays filtering from under the entrance of the small room you'd found yourself and you hoped the armed men that now rushing past would overlook the existence of this secluded space just as you almost had.

The both of you stood frozen as the Eyes were dispatching down the hall, their orders booming mere meters from you.

You focused on regulating your breath that had been rapidly turning into panting from not only the adrenaline, but also the burning waves of sparks running all over your body.

Vash's arm had found its way around your waist as you were sure the other was on the holster of his gun. The way you were, you were more than sure he felt your labored breathing

The flowery sweet smell that permutated from him and continuously filled the miniscule room, replacing the once stale and humid air did nothing to help you. It filled your lungs and you swore it was seeping into your brain it was so intoxicating.

You gasped sharply as his hold around you tightened and you felt his breath blow over the tip of your ear and brush over some strands of your hair.

The scorching heat engulfing your body was becoming almost unbearable the more Vash seemed to want to enclose you even more.

You knew you needed to signal to him to release you to avoid this escalading, but you couldn't find even a hint of willpower to do so in you.

It had been so long you had craved his gentle but need-filled touch, that you had forced yourself to abandon all hope of ever seeing the angelic man ever again. How could you ever do anything else but abandon yourself to his heavenly temptative presence?

And it seemed Vash equally struggled with denying himself, his own sultry breath tickling your neck at the edge of your suit.

You swallowed a hum of surprised when you felt and heard the zipper of your suit being pulled and the blond criminal place fervid kisses over your newly exposed skin.

That simple show of affection also had you melting in his arms. You had missed him yes, but it had never been as obvious as your body was loudly begging for more of his touch.

As footsteps in the halls faded, Vash's touch grew with insistence. His hands gripped firmly at your hipbone as he let go of his gun.

"I thought I'd lost you." He whispered against your steaming skin. "But you're here, you're really here now."
