Chapter 3

That Night

*Elias's POV*

I put on my goggles and mask, after putting on the rest of the uniform, but then I walked over to Alexis's crib, and took off my mask, then with a smile, I kissed her forehead

Me: Goodnight sweetheart, sweet dreams, and don't let the bedbugs bite

My smile grew wider as I saw my daughter smiled in her sleep

Me: *puts blanket to her chin* Daddy will be back soon

I then turned to see Megan leaning against the doorway, smiling, I walked over

Megan: You're a good father

Me: And you, you're a good mother

Her smile disappeared as she grabbed my hand, which had my mask in it

Megan: *puts my goggles up* Please be careful

Me: I will

I kissed her before letting go, and putting my mask on and leaving the room, I saw Geoffrey, Amadeus, and Antoine waiting in the living room, Larry cuddled up on one of the couches with a pillow and blanket, asleep

Geoffrey: You ready mate?

Me: Ready

The two of us then headed out of the cabin

Geoffrey: Do you have any faster way to head to the kingdom?

Me: Yep

I then motioned him to follow me around the cabin, where the mobo-cruiser was parked

Geoffrey: Wow, you still have that?

Me: Yep, now hop in, I'm driving

Geoffrey: I'm older

Me: So? Also, only by two years

Geoffrey: So, I'm driving

Me: Why do you want to drive?

Geoffrey: Cause

Me: You're reckless, you'd crash it into the guards if you got the chance and completely ignore the plan

Geoffrey: I would. If this wasn't a stealth mission

Me: Geoffrey!

Geoffrey: Just get in the cruiser!

I rolled my eyes and hopped into the drivers seat, as he walked over, his mouth gaped open offendedly

Geoffrey: Oi!

Me: Slow poke

He huffed and climbed into the passenger sea 

Me: This..thing brings back memories..especially a certain one

Geoffrey: Nice

Me: No. Not nice. Antoine was blown up and put into a damn coma

Geoffrey: Oh...that memory..

I nodded before starting the cruiser and we made our way towards the Acorn kingdom, the memories of the explosion coming back to me, but I shook them away, That was in the past..before the genesis wave..he's alright now.., I took a deep breath as I willed the flashbacks away

30 Minutes Later

I parked the cruiser, hidden by the darkness and the foliage of the forest, we both watched Harry and Ron talk, waiting for them to move so we could leave the cruiser

Geoffrey: Alright, so, we head to the South wall, right?

Me: Yep, but I think we should head around the West wall to get to the secret entrance, when they go patrol the East wall
