It's been 3 months since Tim cheated and 2 months since he moved back home. Lucy was now 8 months pregnant.
Tim and Lucy were at birthday party for a coworker when Lucy walked over to him at the bar. "Are you drinking?"
He nodded and instantly saw her face change causing him to sigh. "You're not over it yet are you?" She shook her head "No. I'm trying to be but I'm just so worried"
"If you don't want me to drink I won't." He says truthfully and Lucy ponders for a second "Actually drink. If you drink and you don't cheat on me then it might give me some type of healing knowing you can drink and not cheat."
He smiles lightly kissing her softly "Okay I will. How are you guys doing" Lucy smiled as he asks that often. "doing fine just getting tired. I was thinking of heading home but you should stay."
His eyes got wide. She hasn't let him be on his own since that night. "Is this a test?" He asked and she shrugged "A test? Maybe or more like me just throwing all my trust at you."
He nodded "okay baby well I love you guys. See you at home" Lucy nodded and returned the 'I love you' and left
Lucy knew she had to do this to be able to trust him again but wasn't entirely sure if she was okay with it. She went home and laid in the bed watching tv and periodically looking at the clock terrified. *it was 9:30pm when she got home and she had fallen asleep around 11pm*
Lucy stirred in her sleep and looked at the clock *1:15am* Her throat instantly got hot "there's no way he did it again. No way" she thought to herself.
Then she focused her ears on a distant sound almost like someone is home. She smiled hoping it was him but then nervous that he was just getting home.
Tim opened the bathroom door and saw Lucy looking at him ask he smiled softly "hey baby"
She sighed a sigh of relief as he walked out with nothing on but his boxers and wet hair. "Why'd you shower?" She asked still thinking the worst
He sighed as he knew why she asked and he walked over to her standing in front of her on her side of the bed. "Baby I didn't cheat on you. I got home around 12. I ate and watched a game then jumped in the shower because I didn't shower after work today because we had his appointment remember"
She nodded instantly remembering he said he needed to shower when they got home. "Lay with me please" she said softly and he did.
"I want you to trust me baby. I know I messed up but I will never do that again. What do you need from me baby" he said engulfing her in a cuddle while placing his lips on her neck.
"Can I look through your phone" she has no clue why she said that because she's never cared but she can feel herself forgiving him for his one time lapse of judgement.
He nods and removes his lips giving her the phone "101625" he says as she's goes to open it and his lips go back to your neck. "Aww our anniversary" he smiles against her neck and she goes through it.
"Okay. There's nothing. I forgive you" his head shot up "What?" He says quickly. She smiled softly "I forgive you. Your one time lapse of drunk judgement clouded by fear. I forgive you for it and I'm done holding it over your head"
He kisses her forehead softly "Thank you baby and I promise to never do it again"
"I trust you" she says running her hand down his chest and with that they rekindle again all night.

3 months later
Tim had recently started back at work and walked inside to both Lucy and the baby crying. Tim walked over to her "let me" he said trying to grab baby Luke from her arms.
She looked up at him with tear flooded eyes "oh baby I didn't even know you were here" she said said handing him the baby and he immediately calmed down.
"Does he need fed soon?" Tim asked looking at a defeated Lucy. She shook her head drying her tears "No and if I wasn't so tired I'd be so mad that he calmed down for you"
Tim chuckled "Has he been at it all day?" Lucy nodded "He hasn't slept but more than two hours all day"
He gave her a sad face "I'm sorry honey. Go sleep I've got him" she smiled softly and kissed him quickly "thank you. There's a bottle in the fridge if he does get hungry." she said before hurrying off to the bedroom.
Tim chuckled and took the baby to go lay down on the couch.

Lucy woke up to a pair of lips on her neck. "Mmmm" is the only noise she could make causing a chuckle from Tim "and she's awake"
Lucy looked over at the bassinet and then him "where is he?" She asked confused
"His room and don't worry I set the monitor up. He just went to sleep" he said his lips still on her
She looked at the clock "oh wow I slept for 5 hours. Thank you baby" she said giggling. "Don't need to thank me I was just being a dad"
He said looking over at her. "Well since I'm so well rested do you want to" she said moving her finger down his bare chest
He nodded with his eyes dark "if you're ready then yes" he said kicking his shorts off.
Lucy giggles "Someone's eager" Tim hit his lip "I've missed you. All of you."

Tim and Lucy never stopped going to therapy they just did it once a month now. Which was good for Lucy when she developed PPD and Tim had to navigate those waters.
