Dai, an 18-year-old freshman, is rich and very close to his mom. He lives in a nice apartment in Tokyo with her. His dad died when Dai was five, and his mom raised him alone, never dating anyone else. Dai often wonders if true love exists. He switches girlfriends every week, unable to settle down. Despite this, he has a kind heart and loves his mom deeply.

Shun, a 19-year-old sophomore, is calm and very attractive. His parents left him at an orphanage when he was 13 because he was gay. This hurt him deeply, and by the time he was 15, he was living on the streets, working hard to survive. Despite these challenges, he finished high school and got into university, where his looks and talent made him popular.

One sunny afternoon, Dai took his new girlfriend to a small, cozy cafe known for its good coffee. As they entered, the smell of fresh coffee filled the air. Dai led his girlfriend to a corner table, the perfect spot for their date.

Shun was working at the cafe, cleaning tables and taking orders. He noticed Dai as soon as he walked in. Dai's confidence and good looks caught his attention. Shun felt a mix of attraction and jealousy. "He already has someone," Shun thought, pushing away his feelings.

The cafe owner asked Shun to take Dai’s order. Nervously, Shun approached the table. Dai’s girlfriend was laughing at something he said. As Shun placed the cups on the table, his hand shook, and he accidentally spilled coffee on her dress.

"Are you crazy?" Dai shouted.

Shun’s heart sank. "I'm sorry, sir..." He quickly took out a napkin to clean up the mess.

"Leave it. Don't touch my girl," Dai said, grabbing Shun’s wrist.

"I'm sorry," Shun repeated, stepping back, his face red with embarrassment.

"Because of you, our first date is ruined. Where is the cafe owner?" Dai demanded.

"Sir, please don’t do this. It was my mistake. I need this job," Shun begged, his voice shaking.

"Shut up, you poor thing," Dai said harshly.

Shun felt humiliated and scared. He couldn’t afford to lose his job, but Dai’s complaint got him fired. The cafe owner apologized to Dai and handed Shun his last paycheck. Feeling defeated, Shun left the cafe.

Luckily, Shun found a new job at a bookstore. It wasn’t easy, but it was better than nothing. In his second year of university, Shun was very popular and respected by many of his peers.

As the new school year started, Shun was busy helping new students. As the university captain, he had many responsibilities and took them seriously. He never expected to see Dai again, but fate had other plans. During the orientation, Shun saw Dai among the new freshmen. Seeing him brought back all the bad memories.

"Oh, you again?" Dai said with a smirk.

"Shut up and go to your class," Shun replied coldly.

"Why? Don’t you need a job anymore?" Dai laughed.

"Remember, this is your first day. Do you want to get in trouble on your first day?" Shun asked, trying to stay calm.

"You poor boy, you think you can tell me what to do?" Dai sneered.

"Don’t forget I’m the captain," Shun retorted.

Before things got worse, Shun’s best friend, Sham, stepped in. "Dai, let him go for now. We’ll deal with him later," Sham said, pulling Dai away. They left, heading to their class.

Shun stood there, angry. He never thought he would see Dai again. As he watched Dai walk away, he promised himself he wouldn’t let Dai’s arrogance get to him. This was just the beginning, and Shun was determined to prove himself.
